It's a great spot to stop and refresh. Good coffee and lovely cakes. Close to the bike track with a rack to safely hold bikes. Nice shady outdoor areas to sit in.Food: 5/5
Stopped for bite to eat lunch time. My sister had a meat pie Very hard because either heated too long or warmer too hot. I only had a milk shake which was warm and I had to hunt it down because staff forgot. Sister also had small bottle orange juice . Total cost was $19.90 which was ridiculously expensive . Waiting staff seemed not up to the job.
A great bakery with extra friendly staff and great pies, pastys and coffee. We had the vege pasty, plain croissant and lamb rosemary pie. The pie was exceptionally flavoured and cooked to perfection. Also very nice indoor and outdoor areas with kids toys and books and lovely scenery out back.
We were heading out for a busy day and decided to call in for breakfast and we were very happy with the service from the staff, we were made to feel welcome and the food was fantastic and great value so we will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Excellent quad shot coffees! Great cakes after a nice bike ride through The Vale.
Absolutely nice pies. Located in the main street, readily accessible. The toilet throws you a bit as you leave by the side door you seem to be outside! But turn right and you're fine!
Very high quality pies and pasties. Potato pie loaded with potato on top, crispy cheese melted over. Cornish pasty had lovely pastry, just the right thickness and flakiness. Vegetables cut to uniform size, potentially hand done Pepper pie great big chunks of steak and rucy seasoned gravy. Part of goolwa bakery so can check out their products at other venues too.
This cyclist's favorite has pies galore, but they get snapped up early. The back rack is full mid morning amid talk of chains, gears, and hills. Refuel here before tackling nearby road riding challenges or grab a pie and eat among the Vines. Your all year round source for fruit mince pies!
Adorable little local bakery. Really nice pies and coffee. The lady who served me was very kind. Would definitely visit again with friends. It’s these types of places that make McLaren Vale really special
This is the best bakery in the world and definitely the best cafe in mclaren vale. Great service and good food!
