Wow! Thank-you Red Poles for your brilliant hospitality, chef Connor it was lovely to meet and have you showcase a new menu item, stunning! And such a lovely experience. Everything I had was delicious, the lamb and the sauce served with it was absolute chefs kiss, loved it! I will absolutely be back and recommend to all my friends, well done, can’t wait to try the new menu. Lovely atmosphere and all the staff are beautiful and attentive, perfect hidden gem.

Highly recommend. The food was extremely good. The service was great. The food came out quick. We all had entrees mains and desert and can't fault a single thing. The music was great also. Would happily dine again.

Perfect!  Great atmosphere with chill music, birds chirping and delightful staff, very welcoming and informative about wine and food and history/future of the venue. Lamb skewers delicious, eggplant side also, love the many options for dining, quaint accommodation and Saturday nights sound great. Met the Head Chef Connor, well done Ros and Team!  Parking: Plenty  of and easy access to parking  Wheelchair accessibility: Saw it but not required

Had a lovely time here, had the 5 course feed me menu and was blown away by the quality and creativity of all the dishes. Appreciate how protein focused the dishes were, felt like a good amount of food but not just empty carbs. Would definitely come here again.Food: 5/5

An absolute delightful place operated by lovely people who really “get” hospitality! We had a family lunch for 25 people, organised on short notice; the food was great, the service superb and the wine list reasonably priced with good variety. Highly recommended.

Great food by innovative chef. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Great surrounding and wines at the cellar door prices. What else one might require for perfect lunch with friends?  Thank you guys for beautiful afternoon!

My family and I had an amazing lunch at Red Poles today! The service was superrrr friendly and accomodating. Was so relaxing sitting on the veranda listening to live music. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Thank you for having us!! :

We were looking forward to a lunch in McLaren vale many places all booked out and now know why Red Poles had room - FOH staff were great but that was about it. We chose the ‘feed me’  option and VERY disappointed in comparison to other venues we choose this option. We were told it is up to the kitchen to determine what is served, we should have asked for the waitress to be more specific so we could have avoided the disappointment. Waited an hour between courses which then came out cold : We watched FOH staff set up a table literally getting a table umbrella chairs glasses cutlery etc….while we waited an hr for our next dish.   Red Poles if you are going to offer ‘feed me’ option for $75 then deliver the experience - very disappointed when compare to other venues that offer the option.

The long lunch was absolutely wonderful,  I'm now a convert to sashimi which was beautiful, as was everything else we ate. We ended up staying the night in their accommodation and whilst it isn't the Hilton,  we loved it's rustic appeal, comfy bed and delicious breakfast, so then had another delicious lunch the next day. The food is the best we have had in the region and the open pretty environment,  friendly staff especially Kat and the owner all added to our experience.  Highly recommend and we will return.

Had an enjoyable day with friends. Listening to music and the staff went above and beyond. The food was amazing and was happy to try something different. From the entrée to main meal and amazing deserts.
