Waited 30 minutes for 2 simple dishes to come out, we were not given any cutlery and no water. Tables are also not cleared often enough - 2 lots of customers cleared their own tables in the hour I was here. Food was nice, but pricey for the service you receive.

The $9.90 deals that are available Monday - Friday from 10am - 2pm are great value, and out of the 3 we tried between us, were all nice, and came out quite fast. A star was lost because one of the glasses we were given by a waitress was dirty, and the drinks came out after the meals.

Very disappointing visit to the coffee club this morning. Waitress took our drink order and we asked for 5 minutes to look at the menu. After about 15 minutes and the waitress passing us several times we had to ask to place our order. I ordered big breakfast without beans. Eventually our coffees came and what seemed like half an hour our meals arrived. I got big breakfast without beans, but also without bacon. Mushrooms had no flavour and tasted like water. With many other breakfast outlets on the esplanade, definitely won't visit coffee club again. Ps. I got a $5 discount because they forgot the bacon.

Ok, Cake was not great value. And I know customer service is difficult, but to take 5 minutes to put just the cake into a plastic container, was an experience.

Really delicious place for coffees. The caramel iced coffee had whipped cream and ice cream! Not what I was expecting but it was delicious. The iced latte was also good - very strong though! The smashed avo on a bun was good with the poached egg, and a fair price at $12. The chicken sandwich was also good but did have a small amount of chicken which was disappointing. The calamari was the best part, very fresh and delicious. The salad it came with had a very tasty dressing as well. All in all the service was great. Take away teas have also been good. A little expensive for an English breakfast tea but that seems to be the norm in cairns. Chai tea has consistently been delicious and the white chocolate muffin and chocolate muffin were both great! Not too sweet.
