The Cidery Bar & Kitchen

About

Contemporary urban style craft bar at World Square. Ciders are made in-house.

Story

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen has relaunched itself as a contemporary, urban-style craft bar, in Sydney’s popular World Square precinct. Emulating an urban distressed appearance, oak and copper tones, herringbone flooring and a bar constructed from recycled brass pipes and bridge timbers. Tall, solid tables and stools stand before the bar, whilst leather tub chairs with copper detailing and industrial style tables and light fixtures spread throughout. The bar opens up into a very airy and spacious terrace overlooking World Square, creating a cosy nightspot, nestled with tables, bar stools, heaters, and large pillars, that enclose the area.

DJ sounds fill our bustling bar every Friday night, with Happy Hour from 5-7pm. The atmosphere changes on Saturday nights as we house acoustic solo artists to flood the bar with mellow tunes.

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen showcases Sydney Brewery’s, range on tap, from Sydney Cider, Agave Ginger Cider, Paddo Ale, Potts Point Porter, and Lovedale Larger – the winner of the Australian International Beer Award 2014. Serving a brand new cocktail menu, using our very own Sydney Cider, brewed in-house, and latest flavour Manly Perry Cider, in our new concoctions, with many of our classic and favourites still available for our regular patrons. An extensive list of local and imported wines, ciders and craft beers are also available to taste.

Our chefs have also put together a delicious menu to match our new array of wines and ciders. Lunch available from 12pm and hand-made wood fired pizza’s available after 5pm.

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen is only a 5 min walk from Town Hall & Museum train stations. Check out our website by clicking here.

Perfectly adequate hotel bar - really not worth bothering with if you're a cider fan
Mainly for young folk who gather after work and evenings to socialise, eat and drink. The area is usually packed out. The menu is just the right combination between snacks and meals of a casual nature. Sometimes can be quite noisy and difficult to converse. Good to see others having such a great time.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere with a small bar style menu and great variety of drinks.
Reasonable selection of drinks at reasonable prices, handy location right in the CBD. Worth a visit if you're looking for drinks in a chilled atmosphere.
Was a pretty good atmosphere, was a bit let down by the small selection of ciders for a place called the cidery, but the house cider was quite nice.
