An institution and a treasure. Full of knowledgeable staff and a comprehensive selection of children's books. A smaller but still worthwhile adult selection keeps those who insist on growing up happy as well.

I visit CBS for work (I am a librarian) and personally. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and willing to order in hard-to-get titles. The number and quality of author visits to the store for both children and adults is exceptional. What I like the most is the range of books and the appreciation of readers who simply want to browse.
