We have been to Chambers several times but took friends there for Xmas meal … they were blown away by the place. Had a great meal and Fabio the manager always treats you right and makes your visit great. Would recommend a visit anytime of the year but we’re definitely going back in the summer to really appreciate the whole Chambers vibe

I had been eagerly anticipating a visit to The Chambers since moving to Southsea in 2019. The charming exterior always caught my eye, so I was thrilled when my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner there for our first child-free date night in ages.  The eclectic and vintage interior created a delightful atmosphere, adding to our excitement. However, the limited menu options left us slightly disappointed, craving more variety. My husband enjoyed his burger, but the accompanying few chips left him wanting more. My chicken ballotine looked appealing, but the flavor fell short. The chicken was bland and overcooked beneath the chorizo slices, while the highlight was the potato.  Despite the letdown in terms of the menu, the service was exceptional, and the cute ambiance added to the overall experience. However, as we left, we couldn't help but feel a sense of mild disappointment, hoping for a more memorable and satisfying dining outing, especially given the rarity of our child-free date night.

Mother's day Roast was amazing. Potatoes are so tasty and you get so much veg. Beef was good and the chicken was so tender.  Very catering to our children, service was spot on.  Highly recommended, will be back soon!

My daughter had her wedding reception here Friday 26th May  what an amazing venue. We had the upstairs which was beautiful. The one problem was Bianca was up and down stairs for wine. She was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us all. Will definitely be back...you do need to install dome sort of lift though as older guests found it very difficult to climb the steep stairs

Burns Night supper service and atmosphere was fantastic. Starter and dessert were great lovely vegetables with my main but just a bit disappointed with the mushroom Wellington which was not home made unlike everything else. Staff and owner were just fabulous hosts we had such a great night  many thanksFood: 3/5

The interior of this place is so festive and cozy. I could sit here with friends and drink wine all day. My friend and I had their bread and olives, butternut squash soup, and christmas pudding with some rose. It was very good and reasonably priced for the portion the portion sizes are pretty big. The staff are also really friendly. I had a great experience and would want to return to try their main menu as well.

Just had the best roast dinner ever here, I’m not joking better than Toby bar far and langbrook. The pork won it for me but the beef and gammon was delicious didn’t try the lamb. What I loved about it was that most places you have a roast the roast potatoes let you down and the Yorkshires but honestly the roast potatoes were freshly cooked it was delicious without a doubt the best roast I’ve had in Hampshire and I’ve had a lot believe me, I love that the head chef comes out and engages with you and the manager is just so sweet always attentive always has a chat with you makes you feel welcome and if your lucky give you a cheeky shot ; has without a doubt become my favourite place to eat/ drink in Portsmouth. Xxx

Walked in on a wet Thursday evening and we're greeted with a lovely place, special offer 2 for 1 on steaks. We all chose fillet steak and we were not disappointed.... The steak was cooked exactly right, even able to use a normal table knife to cut the meat. Fab place would highly recommended this place to eat.

Had a beautiful Sunday Roast, tasted great and perfect portion size. Homemade dessert absolutely fabulous.
