Went here using First Table (a website offering 50% discount off the bill for 2-4 people). Very impressed! Fire going, relaxing surroundings. A lovely young man called James took excellent care of us and had a fantastic sense of humour. The menu is amazing and very difficult to decide which yummy meal to pick. I finally decided on the lamb shanks on creamy mash with cabbage or kale stirred through, pumpkin mash. My Dad ordered the guiness pie with mash, gravy and peas And my son ordered the burger (which he rates as one of the best burgers he has ever eaten!) His girlfriend ordered the guiness pie also. The meals were the best I've eaten! Highly recommend and will go back often. Got 4 massive meals and 3 desserts for $67. Excellent value booking through First Table with the 50% discounts.

Great music on Friday Night and went until 3am! However, I returned on Saturday Night (21st April 2018) and the pub was closed 10pm. What kind of pub closes so early on a Saturday night??? No music. Very disappointed with Saturday night. Wasted a good night for me.

Typical Irish pub with a Kiwi twist. Food is what you can expect from a pub, good beer. No Irish coffee.
