Highly recommend hiring bikes and taking a ride to the Pencarrow lighthouse. Really beautiful and their e-bikes are loads of fun. These guys are friendly, helpful and know their stuff.

The ride itself is great and it is a beautiful area. Was disappointed that the "guaranteed to have your bike ready and waiting for you when you arrive" turned out to be false. We showed up 10 mins before our booking, and only left the shed 30 mins later. The guy there didn't even acknowledge our arrival (a simple "hello, I'll be with you shortly" would've gone a long way) and I had to ask him whether he'd seen us about 15 mins after we were supposed to have left. This upset him, which led to me getting the worst bike, with the worst saddle, in the shed. When I prompted him about this on return, he told me that I "could've upgraded it if I wanted". Funny enough, the other two bikes came with the "upgraded" seats at no extra cost... Also, the website is quite misleading. It boasts of 20% discount everywhere, but you have to enter a code, it is not just applied, so we ended up paying the full price, waiting for our bikes, and being treated poorly.

Cute little bike shed where you can hire bikes to bike around the shores and get an ice cream.

Got a voucher a while back from grabone. Bikes were lots of fun and in great condition. Perfect idea for a sunny day and not too demanding fitness wise.
