The Avenue Foodstore is a cozy cafe in leafy Albert Park, located on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Richardson Street, and only a stone’s throw from Albert Park Beach. Owned and operated by Peter and Jenny for over 20 years, The Avenue Foodstore has certainly undergone some changes over the decades, but Peter and Jenny’s commitment to great coffee, delicious food and friendly service has remained steadfast.

25 years ago this place was in a skit on the comedy show "full frontal"  but good food and good service great little place

The 2-stack pancake with strawberry compote and labne was a winner for me; chewy goodness. With excellent flat white coffee, smiling good service, this was the perfect brunch before my appointment nearby. The Cornish pastie and chutney I had at home later that day was delicious and big enough for two!

A great stop on the walk around Albert Park suburb. Good coffee, great range of sweet and savory on-premise food. A  favorite with the locals so very well patronised, looking forward to eating in again when restrictions permit!

Lovely to come and support a friendly local business. These guys are open, warm and welcoming both in personality and interior. Had a carrot cake and prana chai latte that is generous in serving and hits all the right spots on a wintry day. Thanks guys :
