A great experience! Top quality food and great value for money. Haloumi was sensational. The souvlaki and lamb were standouts. The zucchini chips left a little to be desired, but the normal chips were well seasoned and crispy. The 3 piece band took the night to a new level. The banter was great and they were interactive and engaging. Got a bottle of wine by the end of the night too! Would highly recommend!

There are limited good food options near the cinemas at Beverly Hills. This was picked by one of my cousins. Thaleia means the Muse of comedy and idyllic poetry. The restaurant seats around 10 tables, simple decor with exposed stone wall feature with iconic Greek vases. Zucchini chips Pan fried zucchini slices with skordalia $13.90 - these were super thick more like fritters, tasty! Slow cooked roasted lamb With lemon potatoes $34.90 - overpriced but delicious Souvlakia Char grilled marinated chicken skewers with chips, warm pita bread, tzatziki and small side salad $25.90 - I think this meal had the most value. There are better options on the strip of BH but if you are craving Greek it’s a good option.
Delicious Greek food, recommend to everyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. The service is great as well. enjoy the Greek salad and sip on a glass of Greek dry white wine, perfect Friday night.
The walls on one side have photographs and ornaments from Greece. The other side has mirrors. We had the banquet for 2 and the whole snapper. We had greek salad as an opening entree and then the pita bread, dips, skewers of lamb and chicken, and then the fish. The food was fresh, delicious, and generous. The service was good. I strongly recommend this wonderful greek restaurant. I will return to surf the menu.
We just had the most beautiful meal at this lovely restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and obliging. The music and general atmosphere was terrific. It was also very reasonably priced. We look forward to returning.
My family & I purchased Groupon vouchers twice, food was delicious & generous, friendly efficient staff both time's, definitely recommend Thaleia. Edit.....Unfortunately after going a third time, we found food to be mediocre, Greek salad wasn't fresh & portion size of meats were smaller for the bigger group we had this time. Service was still good, Hopefully they had were having a bad day in the kitchen that Chinese new year. No photos on our third visit.
Delicious, authentic Greek cuisine. The moussaka and lamb souvlaki were so tasty, I burned my tongue because I couldn’t wait for it to cool down before eating! Even something as simple as the pita bread is exquisite here.
Welcoming staff and nice atmosphere with live music. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of Beverley hills. The food here was amazing!! Starting off with the halloumi cheese, it was very soft and well seasoned and delicious. It was the first time I tried zucchini fries. This was so amazing the flavours on this were perfection. A MUST TRY! The moussaka was full of flavour, filling and very comforting. I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!
Their lamb is absolutely divine. I don't know how they do it. We order their lamb souvlaki every time we come here. Live music on Saturday nights - adds to the experience and makes it really fun and cosy.
