We have driven by Twin Dragon a few times and have never had a chance to stop. This time we were on our way to a concert and the wonderful neon sign called to my grandson. He just had to try it. I am so glad we did and we will be back time and again. Everything about Twin Dragon is lovely. The exterior is so pretty, with its big neon sign and its frontage looking, well, so Chinese. It is so nice. Parking is in their lot or there is always a place on the street. Once you walk it, you are warmly greeted and seated. The interior is old school Chinese with green booths, prepared tables and art everywhere. It is very comforting and you feel like you have actually left the city. The service is great. They know the menu well and are happy to navigate you if you need. Our food was delivered to us hot and fresh. It was also pretty fast. Again, our server was wonderful. The food is great. We had a selection of items. Their shrimp tempura is some of the best we have had, it is not over cooked or filled with too much tempura. Their BBQ pork rice is fantastic and is all of their noodle dishes. We were just so happy there. We can't wait to go back and order new things to try. We know it is going to be great.
Good place and ambience with excellent food. Each plate has a distinct taste. I like my plates piping hot and food sizzling. I'm sure they would accommodate if you ask. I asked for spicy cashew chicken and it was wonderful.Food: 4/5
Been going here for 20 years I drive always from the San Fernando Valley and I don't regret it. Best service and food. Lettuce cups And egg rolls With some house fried rice. Always great food.
Like Chinese food? This is the place for you. Amazing food and service. We tried the "Mandarin menu" to get a taste of different dishes. Wow, we did not get disappointed. As a starter a Wonton soup that taste so good. Best of all it's not to salty, and have really good wontons. BBQ spare rips, crab rangoon, and egg rolls- can't say much more than it's delish. Especially the spare ribs. Very nice seasoning. Entree: spicy beef and sweet and sour chicken. Just amazing. As you might know I never give a five star unless the service, food, environment and more are on top. And it is here.
My wife and I went to Twin Dragon, the food was good, Fanny our waitress was great... the problem I had was the bill. I'm not complaining about the amount but how those sneaky jerks added $16.33 to my bill. Which I found out the next day when going through my credit card summary. My bill was $82.74 which I signed for, if you include the 3.5% CC fee it would make the bill $85.63. I was charged $99.29. How do they justify the additional 13.66? I left my waitress cash for her tip. LISTEN PEOPLE CHECK YOU RECEIPT WITH YOUR CC STATEMENT!!!! THEIR SCAMMING FOLKS. On another note we went their last week but we paid in cash, when we received our change we were short $8.00. They corrected the mistake BUT THIS IS NO COINCIDENCE... Watch out for those people either their scamming their customers or the are REALLY BAD AT MATH...
We recently hosted a party for 20 and used their catering service. Food was amazing and the service was also perfect! Had the food ready at their promised pickup time and it was super fresh. They even helped us carry it to the car. I would highly recommend them for your catering needs. We will most definitely use them again! Thanks Twin Dragon for a great experience!
Just tried this place for the first time. Really cute and family vibes. The food was delicious. Def going to be my go to Chinese spot from now on. We got the chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein and beef with vegetable. So delicious! Vegetarian options: Veggie portion on menu
Very expensive at night, and small portions, We had 1 entry, 3 dish, 1 white rice $72 after tip $85. I thight we will have a lot of leftover, but since small portion, nada left..... will never go there at night. Food was good. Good flavor. But get cold very quick. Need a solution to that.
My friend and I went several months ago and our enjoyable evening was anything but. Both wait staff and I presume the owner who said he was the chef came out to yell at me because I returned a sweet and pungent shrimp meal. He demanded I eat and pay for it. It was neither sweet or pungent and clearly NOT what I ordered. My girlfriend too had an issue with her dish and was chastised as well. They didn't want my money for what I had eaten an appetizer and threatened to call the police which I encouraged them to do. I had to fight them to accept the money and they insisted my friend pay for what I returned to the kitchen. We had been going for decades and will not ever darken that door again. As a side note the restaurant that was so well loved was sold during the pandemic and these issues are direct result of the new ownership.
Ordered takeout and was overall disappointed with the food. The wonton soup was mostly veggies and contained exactly 2 wontons and 1 shrimp. The wontons were a strange texture and mostly dough, I couldn't tell what the filling was if there was any. I don't think this restaurant is going for particularly authentic Chinese food, which is fine, but I have never had wontons like this before and I am Chinese. Egg flower soup which is hard to mess up was bland, the chicken chow fun was just ok, and the sweet and sour chicken was also lackluster. I can't speak for what the food is like for dine-in, but I don't think I will be returning. I wish I liked the food because this is my local Chinese restaurant, but there are places serving much better dishes. I'd say even Panda Express is a better option if you're looking for americanized Chinese food.
