Absolutely perfect spot! Stumbled upon this restaurant on a stroll, and I'm so glad I did! The staff were amazing and kind- and the food was absolutely delicious! Calamari was perfectly cooked! And the fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time. High class meals for a reasonable price! Made me feel fancy and happy as the fish melted in my mouth! Will definitely eat here again, especially with such a beautiful view.
This was the most beautiful dinner of fish and chips I've ever had!! So delicious, lovely waiters, and a beautiful location. Honestly we couldn't believe a place this nice was right on the waterfront, as places in premium tourist locations often lean too heavily on the good location. The dessert was also one of the best things I've ever tasted! We're going again tonight for the seafood platter and can't wait. Thank you!!
Fantastic location by waterfront. Good food and service. Decent value. All seafood were fresh and well cooked. Tableware, chairs and interior can perhaps do with an uplift to further enhance experience.
Nice place with water views food is okay had a few entrees, nice presentation mains okay, service was I order. The big question is would I go back, well there wasn't a dish that was memorable enough to entice me back. If you like this review please like and share
This was our first visit inside Tha Fish, we had booked for 7:30pm on Sunday 13/02/22 & all of us were very impressed with the excellent service & fantastic quality food, fantastic meal preparation / presentation, friendly waiters & waitresses who were very knowledgeable on the menu choices + recommendations. Reasonable menu prices & in a great location. Plenty of parking close-by or underground parking for a limited time.
From the initial phone call booking right up until my final new old fashioned this place was amazing. The staff were really friendly. This is a must visit for anyone going to Cairns. We had the seafood platter for two which was amazing as well as the salmon bruschetta and the fish cakes. Everything was delicious.
Lovely fish restaurant on the Cairns harbour waterfront. Options to dine inside or out. We were there on the last day before the restaurant was closing for a week for refurbishment. Staff really friendly and food was very tasty and well presented. We went for the option where you chose your fish fillet coral trout, salmon, etc. and then have various options of how it is cooked. We tried four different varients on our table and all were great.
Whenever I try new seafood restaurants, I always like to try the salmon and Tha Fish's chefs did not disappoint. Superb combination of flavours and the salmon was cooked perfectly, my first time as well. Excellent customer service, greeted with a smile. Highly recommend this place.
Wow what a meal. The octopus entree is to die for. Calamari …. Melt in your mouth. Scallops were absolutely delightful. Prawn & Coral Trout Gyoza bursting full of flavor. Walnut & Basil Pesto smooth and oh so tasty with the housemade bread. My main Pork & Prawn Red Curry was so delicious and so filling. All other dishes were enjoyed by all who ate with me. All herbs with the dishes are homegrown and it shows. Desserts are amazing ‘Dessert by the Campfire’ truly transports you fire side with the smoked chocolate! Something I’ve never experienced in a dessert before. The Mango Cheesecake was so good. The texture was smooth and not too thick on the biscuit base as some cheesecakes can be. The service second to none, attentive, polite & professional. Thank you to all the ‘Tha Fish’ team. I do and will continue to recommend your restaurant.
Perfect spot for lunch. Right on the pier and nice views of the water and mountainside. Recommend looking at the lunch special for $19 which includes a drink too. Service was prompt and attentive. Good value for money.
