Went for the Huevos Benedictos with chorizo other options: mushroom, bacon, smoked salmon .nIt looked the part—but let’s break it down…n Yolk Flow: 10/10 flawless ooze, no complaints here n Sauce: 9/10 glossy chipotle hollandaise—smoky, delicious, big fan n Meat: 5/10 a couple of chorizo slices… felt a bit underwhelming tbhn Base: 7/10 potato hash = yum, sourdough = just okay, a bit of a mixed bagn Flare: 8/10 looked great, colourful with avo, tomato + red onion nEdit Score: 6.5/10nnThis one had some strong elements that yolk + sauce combo ‍, but just didn’t quite come together overall. Needed more chorizo to really hit the mark
Temperance Society is a sunshine-filled brunch gem in Hughesdale, offering the perfect relaxed atmosphere with friendly service and exceptional coffee. The food is a standout, from the unique and delicious Craboulade and the surprisingly flavourful Vegan Burger to the gorgeous, berry topped Red Velvet Waffle. With easy parking, a dog friendly space, and a menu that delights, it’s an absolute local favourite. Highly recommended!
Had such a great experience at Temperance Society, Hughesdale nnThe Seafood Pescatore was packed with fresh seafood prawns, calamari, mussels, and blue swimmer crab, all tossed in a rich, garlicky sauce with a hint of chilli and lemon zest.nSo flavourful and comforting nnThe Pandan Waffle was a standout soft, fragrant, and perfectly balanced with orange ricotta, fresh fruits, and chocolate mascarpone nnDrinks were just as good.nThe iced chocolate with ice cream was indulgent, while the Immunity Booster fresh orange juice, carrot & ginger was refreshing and energising nnLovely atmosphere, friendly service, and a perfect spot for brunch or a relaxed catchup.nDefinitely coming back!
Love this spot, they are always consistent with bold flavours and innovative brunch dishes. The standout recently for me has been the Hash Stack, it’s such a fun medley of smashed avo, quinoa salsa and delicious fried enoki mushrooms. It’s also so vibrant and beautifully presented. So many great dishes to pick from the menu!
The stunning visuals pulled us in, but it was the food that truly surprised usnnWhat we ordered:n Baked Eggsn Seafood Pescatoren Iced latte with ice creamn Apple juicennThe baked eggs just kept on giving with chorizo, and the seafood pescatore was generously smothered with seafood Paired with strong coffee and a refreshing apple juice, we left full, happy, and impressed.nnThe mother–daughter date was a success and on a happier note, even the little one gave it a thumbs upnnThe staff were so lovely.
