I came here after several friends recommended it with absolute confidence.nThis was actually my first time visiting Oakleigh, and I was genuinely surprised by the energy of the area — it was so vibrant and full of life! I absolutely loved it.nWhen I stepped into the restaurant, that lively atmosphere continued. You could really feel how the energy was created by all the people chatting and enjoying themselves.nI ordered the Mixed Gyro Plate, which was hearty, meaty, and absolutely delicious.nI’ll definitely be coming back here with my family — especially when we’re really hungry!
For a Greek restaurant this is quite good. Would bang on say this is a 4.3 star rating.nI really enjoyed the entrees and the drinks here, perfectly balanced in flavor.nThe platter for 4 isn’t bad. But I have to say this is more fit for 5-6 people rather than 4, as there is a TON of stuff, only for 4 if they don’t order entrees. The flavour was quite good but some small portions of the meat, were a bit inconsistent in terms of seasoning, with some a bit saltier than others.nWith that being said I still think this is a great restaurant worth checking out though.

Authentic flavors – the Greek salad is refreshing, and the tzatziki is creamy and tangy.nn3. Portions are decent – enough to satisfy a good appetite, though some may find them slightly smaller than before.nn4. Prices have increased – it’s more expensive than it used to be, but the quality remains consistent.nn5. Good atmosphere – a lively spot in Oakleigh with a nice outdoor seating area for a relaxed meal.
I’ve been to Meat Me Souvlaki a few times now and it never disappoints! Delicious Greek cuisine and the Mix Grill is certainly a lot of food. Greek beers also add to the experience. Interesting that there’s vegetarian and vegan options as well. Highly recommend if you’re in Oakleigh.

Highly recommend.nService: prompt and friendlynCleanliness: very cleannOverall experience: it was great to be able to enjoy a sunny afternoon, Greek music playing in the background, the pledent smell of cooked charcol meat in the air. Felt like I was overseas.nHighly recommend.
