I really do not understand why there are bad reviews!!!. Honestly BAD FOOD OR SMALL PORTIONS are not the standard of this place. My wife and I always have the best experience here. Today, again, we had an amazing experience at MEAT ME for lunch! The mixed open gyro - no chips/double Greek salad for me please- was and will always be one of the freshest and most delicious meals I’ve had ….perfectly prepared, packed with flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The Greek salad was equally incredible: fresh, vibrant, and authentic. You can truly taste the care and freshness in every bite. There is honestly no place like this in Melbourne !nA huge shoutout as well to Theo, who always wait on us, as always, made the experience even better. Theo is amazing; always friendly, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely warm with every customer. Service like his and the one that the twin “big boss” brothers deliver, is rare and unforgettable. Highly recommend MEAT ME to anyone looking for fantastic food and outstanding hospitality!
I recently visited a Greek souvlaki spot in Oakleigh and was seriously impressed. The food was absolutely magnificent—fresh, full of flavour, and incredibly generous in portion size. You definitely won’t leave hungry.nnThe staff were very helpful and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable from the moment you walk in.nnThe ambience really stood out too—great atmosphere with pleasant Greek music playing in the background, which added to the authentic feel of the place.nnAll in all, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone craving quality Greek food.
Wth I paid $35 for a portion that is not even filling enough for one. And we got the driest and saltiest meat I’ve ever had. Salad was tiny and tzatziki was enough to dip 2 sticks of chips.nnFirst photo is the open plate at Meat Me $35 and the second is the open plate at Mythos $32.
Best Greek Food Restaurant in Melbourne! Their servings are super loaded. Highly recommend to make a reservation in advance.
Wonderful experience all round! The food was beautifully authentic and bursting with flavour, and the atmosphere made our meal even more enjoyable. We were genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend it.
