Second time I’ve been here. Parking is a little tricky but do able to the place is easy to find.  Lots of seating inside and outside.nnThere are lots of staff around, they are pretty friendly. Service is unbelievably fast. The food is really fresh and is really tasty.nnWent with friends got the lamb and chick n platters. Loads of food. Very tasty. Unbelievably well priced.nnWill definitely be coming back again!

We had the gyros pork platter which was fabulous. Smoky, flavourful pork. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Pita was freshly toasted, soft and fluffy. Tzatziki was perfect to cut the richness of the pork.nnSlight issue for me was how salty the pork was. The sides help with the balance, but it could definitely have been tuned down a touch.

One of the many souvlaki Greek places in Oakleigh. Ordering is done at the counter and you assume an empty seat in the restaurant. Information on what is included in the platter is limited and not shown on the chalk board menu. The platter includes the meat of choice, a few slices of tomato and fresh onions, hot chips, pita bread and a sauce of your choice. We ordered the mince lamb and the pork gyros. The mince lamb was unfortunately quite dry on the day but did have some nice spices. The pork was also on the drier side as well. The chips were nicely fried and the highlight of the platter. The eggplant sauce had a nice eggplant flavour. The salad was a disappointment with wilted tomato's being served.nnOverall an average Greek experience both in service and food.

Amazing food!  This has probably been the best Greek food I’ve had.  My first time having pork Souvlaki and wow!  Souvlaki, skewers, chips…all delicious.  I was originally a bit discouraged because parking around the area was tough but after having the food I’ll  definitely be back.

Tried Kalimera for the first time after being recommended by a friend and was happy we made the trip to Oakleigh.nFriendly service at the ordering counter and the food was really good. Pork Souva was excellent and the chicken skewer platter was a generous serving. Flame grilled flavour through the chicken skewers was very tasty. Will be coming back for sure.
