Really tasty entrees, fried feta pastry with honey sesame was awesome. Huge main plates, won't go hungry here nThe young server was an absolute cracker, he was very entertaining. Highly recommend this little local for a great Greek feast
The owner managed to take our last minute booking for 5 on the day, which was awesome. Then when we got there- the great atmosphere, great service. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone who came in had a big smile- they loved being there. Then the food came out- ancient grain salad and mixed grill. The meat was sooo good, tzatziki and even tomatoes were so fresh. I recommend this Greek restaurant. It just so happens, we went to another Greek restaurant last week- and I have to say this one was way better. Everything was so well cooked- the Greek way! Thanks for a great meal, it was a highlight of our holiday. We WILL be back- no question. We took home a selection of deserts, which I am loving right now- the baklava is delicious.
A fellow Greek Really disappointed with the food, we were referred to eat here… however the plates had minimal lamb, the chicken was fatty and had huge chunky pieces Awful seasoning, chips were WAY over spiced making us cough? Very Unusual spices used on the food. 1 star for the pita!
I returned from Europe and made a beeline to this restaurant. Great food and amazing value for money. Whether it’s lunch for 1 or a dinner for 10, Hellenic Depot has never disappointed.
This is an amazing place to get your Greek fix! The food is mouth watering and amazing value. The gyro plate for one is really the size of something that two people would be satisfied by. There is a variety of Greek desserts at the entrance too. The staff are also incredibly kind, even when super busy. For example, on a busy Saturday night they opened up a table for us inside the restaurant when it was cold outside.
