Expensive, average food. I took colleagues from overseas that came to a conference. The 40 degree day encouraged us to have lunch at ANU instead of somewhere in civic. We had 3 options to chose from: a $22 1 course, or more expensive. We all selected the 1 course meal. I ordered the day salad: a bowl with rocket, baby spinach, molecular samples of goat cheese and a little of smoked salmon they one you can buy to make a sandwich + a lemon lime a bitters. At the end, the staff let us know that we couldn't split the bill because we were 7 people ... We managed to find cash. Somebody paid with a card. Later we found we were charged for the 2 course meal, which nobody had had. I'm disappointed with the service we got. Definitely not a place to take your international guests.
We recently had a conference dinner at Vivaldi's. We were most impressed with the food, the atmosphere, and of course the staff, who went out of their way to assist their guests. Thank you Vivaldi's for a most successful evening.
The food here is always lovely and caters for a wide range of tastes. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming to me.
