Quoted $50 for an alignment and charged $70 because I asked them to take the steering wheel off an set it straight while still on the alignment machine one nut that I exposed for them, wheel slides off spline. Service was terrible, man was arrogant and dismissive and obviously didn't understand the very simple thing I was trying to explain to him. Hire some competent staff ffs. Never ever ever again.
AVOID THIS COMPANY. I bought 4 tyres and was assured they were just as good as my previous Cooper tyres that lasted 96,000kms - they lasted just 13,000kms despite having had two wheel alignments. When I went back to the Hobart store to complain, the manager looked on the computer and told me the wheel alignment they charged me for on fitting had never actually been done. He said he the manager had no authority to refund me for this or provide me with any compensation on the tyres. I left him with a photocopy of my receipt and photos of my bald tyres which he said he'd pass on to the owners but I shouldn't expect to hear back as they don't care. He was right. So I posted a note on their Facebook page saying I was looking forward to speaking with the owners about my tyres and wheel alignment - THEY DELETED IT AND BLOCKED ME FROM FURTHER COMMENT! So I mailed them a formal letter. THEY IGNORED IT! So I posted about my dissatisfaction with Tazzy Tyres on my personal Facebook page - THEY LEFT A COMMENT ON MY PAGE CALLING ME IMMATURE AND ABNORMAL. Unbelievable, but true! It is 'troll' behaviour for a company who will not reply to me on their own page and in fact will block me from it, but has no qualms coming to my page and abusing me there. I've now taken my complaint to Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading. Their website promise of satisfaction guaranteed is rubbish. As clearly is their tyre guarantee. If you're a Tasmanian in the market for new tyres - AVOID TAZZY TYRES or their new name TAZZY TYRE & AUTO. They lied to me before I purchased my tyres, made me pay for an alignment they never did and consistently refuse to engage in any type of conversation about this. The only reply I have ever had from them is the abusive one on my own Facebook page.
"Unprofessional is an understatement" Agreed on a price for a set of tyres then charged $200 more then the agreement. To top it off when I called them out on it, i was spoken to abruptly, swore at, and hung up on by max at the kingston store Won't be going there again. What a Circus!!
I wanted to fit a Dunlop tyre to match my others. They told me they could fit the tyre I wanted; but when I picked it up they had fitted a different brand, and charged me more that they quoted!
Fitted different tires than I was quoted on, Needed the car for work so couldn't argue the point at the time ,Avoid like the plague.
Terrible quality product and disgusting service. Will never step foot in any of their stores again and suggest no one else does either
