We are a Nelson based licensed motor vehicle trader, and our aim is to bring you quality cars at the lowest price in New Zealand.

Story

Taylor’s Cars Nelson is a locally run business that strives to provide quality imported cars at wholesale prices. The majority of our cars are imported directly from Japan and we are constantly getting new stock – this website shows both cars that we have currently in stock as well as cars we have arriving from Japan. On arrival the cars are fully checked for compliance with New Zealand standards and Certified for use on New Zealand roads. For further details about our stock, cars we have arriving, or any other queries please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Were great up until the purchase was finalized. Have tried contacting multiple times regarding issues the car I bought from Rego not showing up to things wrong with it and haven't heard anything back. Communication would bump the rating up to 5 stars. Especially when I'm paying out of pocket to get it fixed.
With a excellent selection of cars to choose from along with exceptional competitive prices, friendly staff from the sales yard to the mechanic workshop they are always there to help! If there's not a car that tickles your fancy at the Nelson yard then it's always worth checking out the Richmond yard, from small town friendly cars to high performance vehicles a taste for all walks of life! With the friendly staff making your new vehicle purchase a walk in the park, helping out where ever they can and listening to your needs well giving helpful advice towards your new purchase. Mechanical advice or services, no problem with the workshop being right next door! Offering full car services to just a simple oil & filter change and everything in between, Workshop staff offering super competitive prices to keep costs down and you driving, why go elsewhere? Definitely will be recommending Taylor's Cars to all my friends and family, and anyone looking at purchasing a vehicle. Keep up the good work Taylor's Team!!
Thanks to the lovely staff at Taylor’s for an efficient hassle free purchase of my wee swift. Business manger was super helpful with sussing finance for me despite being out of town. So happy to have such a nice wee car to drive around in again. Thanks team
We purchased our van from the Nelson lot 2 years ago now , good customer service , fast approval , we were on the road again within 2 days. Only downfall was a year later we noticed we had no spare tire : but vechile s goes great :
I am not prepared to fully remove my review but I have given you 1 extra star for finally putting this matter to rest. Like Lewis we just bought our second car elsewhere. As I said to Oliver if I was to base a review on the crown alone it would be a lot better of a review. Please learn from this that there is no excuse for lack of communication and the sale doesn't end with you getting your money. Sad it had to take what it did to resolve this. At least now we can put this to rest
I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Incredibly poor and aggressively deceptive service, they have lied and misled us on every interaction since purchase, even failing to provide the spare they were legally obligated to. This is common knowledge to a lot of locals and I wish we'd heeded that advice, they will lie about your rights and blame their lack of honesty on your ignorance.
Used Taylors garage in Nerlson to fix a broken headlamp and the service from Ronnie was excellent - he even arranged the WOF with another garage as they don't do WOFs. Very happy, and I highly recommend. Taylors Cars, Richmond was also very good - bought the car from there and it was a good deal.
