Great little ramen shop hidden away on the main street in Civic. Great decor and styling inside. Menus choices were limited, but always great to see in smaller venues. Nothing worse than one chef who ooks from a menu of 200 items. Food was refreshing and quite delicious, although somewhat overpriced for what equetes to just 'noodles in a bowl'. Will have to return again and try a few more items on the menu.
Amazing atmosphere, feels like you're in an authentic Japanese ramen house. Fresh and tasty food at a reasonable price. Super fast and friendly service.
Lovely little casual cafe. Gets busy so come early. Yummy food and quick service - the ramen was great! Not very spicy though even when ordering spicy. Salmon salad was yum and Udon were good. The agedashi tofu was very flavoursome.
Had the deep fried oysters and the eel udon Wonderful, absolutely delicious! And a really lovely atmosphere Like being transported straight to the heart of Japan
Pleasant and active little Japanese restaurant Cheap prices and good sized portions of ramen bowls. Starters were predictably small, quality of service was adequate. Overall would recommend it for a good feed without too much complications or too many options. Sushi were unavailable when visited, had some donburi Benton udons and ramen bowl options.
Walk about 1 hours hunt for the good foods, is my first time to be here, I have to say honestly environment is quite nice to dine in. How about the foods, I’m not really sure or might be is my problem, I’m not really prefer at all, I order a plate of teriyaki beef with high expectations, salad is better than the teriyaki beef, meat is too hard to eat, fried tofu with the sauce and actually quite taste good for the sauces but the tofu fried with the flour that they use, it will melt in the sauces and taste like a glue. Don’t sit too close near their WC , is really really gonna ruin your appetite. Really hope that the next visit there would be get better.
This is one of the worst Japanese resturants in Canberra. The people there are just a bunch of Chinese students who do offer a decent price for food. But the food is not worth the money. There are plenty of better places to eat than here. The spicy tonkotsu ramen I ordered contained soggy chicken katsu in a pool of watered down broth. Their "special" spicy sauce in that broth is just chilli oil that wasn't evenly mixed in. So some chunks of broth was shockingly spicy while other parts were so bland. The noodles also felt like instant ramen noodles. The katsu don was alright. However, it was bland and slightly tasteless but better than the ramen. Would not recommend this to anyone expecting to eat a delicious Japanese meal.
It’s a cozy place to have dinner. Ordered miso ramen, Takoyaki and Teriyaki chicken, so yummmy! I think the ramen is the best I have ever had in Cbr. The teriyaki chicken is only $20?? Surprise! But it is a little bit sad that they don’t have sushi and sashimi.
