Never fails to please. We travel from Victoria every year for our anniversary to eat here and spend a weekend in Canberra. Have been coming here since Iori opened. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. Can never fault it, the chef is our favourite, such an expert in the art of Japanese cuisine. WE LOVE THIS PLACE.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, incredibly food. This is the most authentic Japanese restaurant I have ever tried in Australia. I felt like I was back in Kyoto! Cannot recommend highly enough, definitely worth the visit.
Had an excellent dinner out here! We were served by Josh, who was very attentive, down to earth and made our evening so much the better! Thanks Josh! Food is always great but tonight's dining experience was above and beyond our expectations

The staff at Aori are very traditional and very kind. Its good to see a Japanese place be gunned by Japanese people. I really enjoyed the food and experience and would definitely be going back. The sashimi was a little smaller than I would like but we are not in Japan so I guess I can't complain.
This is the best Japan restaurant with the Japanese style decoration. It is right in the heart of canberra. Must try.
The food is worth the price. But the best thing about Iori is the friendly service. They try to make one's visit there enjoyable and comfortable.
Went to Iori for the first time for my partner's birthday and it exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and the service was perfect! The restaurant was kind to even provide special treats for the birthday celebrations. Highly recommend and I definitely will be going back! 10/10
Quite pricey but service very attentive and one of the few places in canberra that is welcoming to walk in customers
