Very good vietnamese pork roll, but the Rice paper rolls here are my favorite. Always fresh so full of flavor that just bursts in your mouth. The chicken and BBQ pork is full of flavor and the vermicelli noodles, salad and mint paired with their peanut dipping sauce is a match made in heaven. 3Rice paper rolls costs $6.5 plus $1.5 for a can ,pretty reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. Good choice for a quick bite. Parking: Limited street parking, you can park at the train station.
Great and affordable rolls - still only $6.5 for chicken or pork, $7.5 for crispy pork. Pate is spread generously. Pickled radish in the crispy pork is a plus. Crispy pork itself has a good amount of crackling, but is just a tad salty. Lots of meat in the chicken roll, and it's also very generous on the pickled carrots. The rolls hold up decently well too, if you're buying in the morning for lunch later - just note the bread is not super crispy to begin with so you won't get a crunch any more, but otherwise still tasty after a few hours!
Friendly Vietnamese pork roll shop with the irresistible aroma of fried chicken and the display of banh mi’s ingredients. Hong Hang has room for improvement in comparison to the pork roll stores in highly populated Vietnamese areas such as Cabramatta and Marrickville. It’s nice enough to for a quick meal. With every purchase of pork roll, you have an option to take a free water bottle. It’s a great bonus.
Fresh and crunchy baguette. Salad tasted fresh with hot chilli. Crackling was nice though meat a little dry. Decent value at $7.5
Excellent pork rolls, fresh wholemeal bread available. Decent amount of salad and chillies, not too spicy. BBQ pork wasn’t that great, tasted too strong of soy sauce. Customer service was awesome, but we didn’t like being forced to take bottled water will the rolls. I’d rather it be 50¢ cheaper with no water, or at least that option.
I've been coming to this shop for the past 5 years. The owner is a lovely, friendly lady. I've only had the rice paper rolls, and pork and vege spring rolls; haven'ttried the Bahn mi's. The food always tastes great, and the prices are quite reasonable. Vegetarian options: You can get salad rolls, and vegetable spring rolls. Parking: There is street parking, but it's very hard to get; especially around lunchtime. I always park in the carpark near the library...it's free for 30 mins. Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is at street level; you get served at the front of the shop. The counter is a bit high for someone in a wheelchair.
Back here after few months for a BBQ pork roll. Deeply disappointed, from the fact they don't accept card payments anymore, to the fact they increased the price whis is understandable, they also cut the deal with the free water which could also be understandable. But, when you increase the price so drastically and then decrease the already avarage quality isn't good. Half quantity of meat now. I rather go to Marrickville where for a couple of extra dollars I get an authentic banh mi, big portion and excellent quality. I won't go back there. Not worth it anymore.
Great Vietnamese rolls! Decent size and packed with flavour. Only downside is they don’t take card. She’ll accept a etransfer though!
Crispy Pork roll is just bloody outstanding, don’t be deceived by the ….look of the place. This is a legit great Bahn mi the crispy pork is awsome !!! You won’t be disappointed
This place is great for take away lunch. Popular in Kogarah, the Bah Mi Rolls, rice paper rolls and spring rolls are delicious. Big selection of fresh juices. This is great Vietnamese fare and well worth a visit. Friendly, cheap and cheerful.
