It is a massive sadness for me to learn of them closing tonight. I have enjoyed so many delicious meals here since their early years and will miss them dearly. North Hobart will not be the same.  I will leave my previous review as a reminder of better times.  ---  I can highly recommend a visit. It is a regular weekly takeaway meal for me and I've never been disappointed. Good prices and filling serving sizes. The staff are always happy and friendly. I enjoy the rendang beef and green chicken curry.

After eating at the taste of Asia at 1pm on sat 21st of sept I felt nauseous all afternoon. By early evening I had developed severe stomach cramps and spent the entire night violently ill. I attempted to contact them but the only available phone number was not connected. My quick lunch turned into days of inconvenience. I won't be frequenting this establishment again and may never be able to look at a beef rendang again.

I've been coming here for years and have Never had a bad meal. Taste of Asia is both my children's ages 4 and 2  favourite place for a meal. And the staff are just brilliant.

I had an amazing meal tonight.  Chicken stir fry with vegetables,  chilli and lemon grass on a bed of steamed rice.   One of the best Thai meals I have had in ages. Thank you Thankyou

Poor quality food, hours old, served from a bain-marie. The green chicken curry had the consistency of shredded tuna. This business has no EFTPOS.

Little hole in the wall. The curries were fantastic. I had the chicken massaman and the Panang beef curry and both took me back to KL. Def be back.

Seemed busy so got a veg curry takeaway but was lacking flavor
