A beautiful and peace beach, the facilities are convenient, there are some parking spots, changing rooms, BBQ ovens, benches, chairs, toilets and pavilions. It is a very nice place for swimming, boating and party.
Aurora at 11th of May 2024. It is south facing so you can go hunt aurora here, but it is not dark enough here due to many houses nearby.
Nice, quite small beach with rocks. Good place for a short walk through the beach. It has BBQ area with a toilet. This beach is one of the best and popular places for Southern Light witnessing.
Relaxed beach and park with bbqs and toilets 12/2023 getting renovated but portable toilets in place.
Beautiful beach with a boat ramp. Just on the foreshore there’s the coastal discovery trail that connects as part of a longer trek. There’s also BBQ, benches, a playground, an old school outdoor equipment area, and toilet block. We saw happy doggies and their walkers come and go, people go snorkelling, and someone head out onto the water on a canoe. It’s a great life here!
Very quiet and peaceful spot that is calm most days and also a very clean beach that you could go for a swim as there is old shower rooms to change in that are no longer functional. However if you do go for a swim there is an outdoor cold shower to get cleaned up. There is also a good outdoor workout area and a kids playground for the little one’s taking in some beautiful coastal views . If you like coastal walks there is a short one hear to be done which seems to be popular with a few of the locals . There is a nice free public BBQ area hear sheltered and there is a water tap located on male end of toilets for Clean up of drinking.
Nice view and dog friendly
Lovely li'l beach... of which, half is an off-lead dog beach. It has lots of large rocks, good for kids climbing. The point on its eastern side becomes surfable on a very big southern or south western swell too. Pic attached is of point on Eastern end
It’s a beautiful place and the sound of the sea is like a music! Awesome experience of visiting taroona beach with my dear family and spending sometime over there
