Great location, great facilities. Many cute dogs, but when you look closely so many dog poo on the beach , not every owner will pick up. I saw an owner was talking on the phone or something, then dog just did.

A park to take your dogs for a poo. Great place to watch other dogs poo. Best place to step in poo. The beach is easy to walk to from the city and there tends to be boats, kayaks or other activities that distract from the effluent activities occuring inland
Although the surrounding area is good and refreshing, the beach itself is used as a pooping spot for dogs. Some owners clean it afterwards and some don't and it's evident.
Great place with rainbow and sunshine!
It's near the wrest point casino and is what it says a Short Beach. Cant imagine swimming there or setting up a chair but it is a beach of sorts.
Nice beach a short walk from Hobart. Nice 20min stroll along the harbour and streets, looking at beautiful houses and the mix of old buildings and modern architecture. The beach is nice, looking at the yachts, but a bit smelly from the dogs as others have mentioned.
