Tandoori Place - Ashmore

A cozy place to dine and wine but no halal food as many visitors from Asia would expect to find so in the name, 'Tandoori'.

Genuinely nice people. Plenty of food and the naan bread is filled with a lot of cheese, will be returning thank you!

I just ordered a vegetable biryani and it's the most unappetising "Biryani" I have ever had till now in my entire life. Seriously guys, Have some standards. If you will serve this kinda food in South Asia then no one will entertain you at all. Better work on your food as this is your primary product. Thanks Good luck.

The UK's favourite cuisine is Indian, so it takes a lot to find somewhere that matches in authenticity and true Indian taste. I also have to mention that I have travelled extensively around India so that is the basis of my personal opinion about this restaurant. I liked it so much I brought back my Indian friends and they loved it too which they both expressed surprise at. The lady serving couldn't be more accommodating and hospitable. The food was delicious had the right spice level for all of our eclectic tastes and we were able to distinguish the different subtle spices that went into the dishes. Wow I will come back here. I am giving a review with two minds I want the restaurant to succeed but also I am a little possessive of my find. If the premises were on the main road or in a prominent place you would know about it already. As it was, whilst we were eating so many people came in for their takeaways it is no wonder many of them were of Indian origin. I am a vegetarian and the restaurant took great care to ensure their was no chance of cross contamination.
