Chookys Chicken Salad & Cavery

Food wasnt bad.... but it was far from good. Roast beef seemed to have been sitting around for a bit too long. Very tough and dry. Frustrating that you cant buy crackle and the amount the comes with the roast pork is minimal.

We used to get our take-aways here but this had stopped quickly after their very poor service. They had not only bumped their prices up but also charged me extra just to have my gravy in a small container after I had requested I would like my gravy separated from my roast. They never used to charge me to have my gravy in a separate in the past so I am annoyed at this. Also one of their male staff who served us was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Then I found out, someone I knew had food poisoning there after eating their BBQ roast chicken and had to take time off from work. Not nice! We were so lucky it didn't happen to my family. We will definitely not be going back there ever again. It is not worth the risk of being food poisoned and being poorly treated. A waste of time and money.

Now，they change the new owner and they are very firendly and funny and always give much more food. Also，they provide more new food style such as fried rice.😊😊😊

Hopeless and worst food. For some reason only in the last 6 months. Never going back

Chookies baked spiced chicken tastes awesome! I remember when they were called Goodies, and I used to gorge on it regularly :D
