I went into the store looking for a particular tea cup that's been in low stock. The server - Tony - was super friendly and even called up other stores to help find what I was looking for. He greeted me as soon as I entered and made me feel welcome. I've had similarly good experiences with the staff every time I've come here.
Why does it always take 15min to gift wrap even though there is planty of staff around. I cant help but to believe this is just an attempt to get you to buy more while you're hanging around waiting. Also I think the signage is placed in a way to trick customers like me into thinking items are cheaper. I know, I should read the sign rather then look only at the price. But I do think this practice jeopardises the integrity of the business. One good thing is tea cups make good gifts for girls. They cant get enough guys. Just be prepared to wait for the wrapping.
My favourite is the Ayurvedic Passion Loose Green Tea - Pomegranate, Tulsi, passionfruit and sweet blackberry leaves blended with green tea. Tulsi has amazing health benefits - just google it!. And it adds a sweet kick to this great tasting tea. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially if you need to buy the perfect gift for someone else.
Such an amazing range of teas! The staff are happy to make you a small cup of tea so you can try before you buy. As a tea lover, you can't go wrong with T2 Tea. T2 is a perfect gift for a tea lover. I love the fact that they always have a few already made teas for anyone to try. I've purchased heaps probably too many teas from T2 and they're ALWAYS high quality. It's a tea lover's dream place.
The quality of tea and range of it's tea has changed. Can't try the tea like before. Staff don't know their products. I used to buy lots of tea from there ....their product and service has declined from every aspect
They spend all their time on branding, retail psychology and hype and no time on what's inside the box. The tea is actually inferior to supermarket brands and not as fresh. Essentially all you're paying for is the rich oligarchs who own Westfield. If you want to subsidise billionaires by paying 8 times the price for a substandard product then this is a good place to buy tea. Read the testimonials on Product Reviews Australia before making up your mind, they're damning.
The teas are absolutely to die for, however I have not been to this store once and paid what I was expecting to pay. The prices of all the miscellaneous items are either not displayed so you get a massive shock at the register; items are either not labelled or they are incorrectly labelled, or items infusers are in the wrong spot so instead of paying $8 you will, for instance, pay $16. Have felt ripped off each time I have been here and it should probably be a relaxing experience given it's a tea store. Hot tip: buy the tea at the store and everything else online at a fraction of the price and then you'll actually know what price you're paying.
Love this place. Large variety of tea. Friendly staff. The best place to buy matching teapots and cups. Variety of travel mugs. You can easily spend a few hours in this shop
Lovely shop, I’m not much of a tea drinker but Toni made a few for me to try and we managed to find a few that suited me. She is pleasant and approachable and patient. Thanks again for the help Toni will definitely be shopping here again and again.
I'm a total tea newbie, went in to buy a gift and the girl was super helpful suggesting many options in my price range. The gift was really appreciated too by the way
