Hello friend. Welcome to Szimpla. We want you to feel like you’re comfy and cozy just like when you’re at home - but without your Mum nagging you to do your dishes. We’ve whipped up some delicious grub, and have a range of superb NZ brews on tap just for you. Combine that with our top-notch hospitality and we’re pretty sure you might heart us immensely. That one was a great surprise! We had an issue with our camper van being delivered so we had to wait for about 2 hours. we found this place in a 10-15 min walking distance and it was great to see they offered much better food than the fast food around the place. The vibes and the staff was really nice as well.

Had lovely food/lunch here: ribs, pork belly, garlic bread and wings. Wow! So tasty! Big portions! My ribs- so soft, meat off the bones, with chips and lovely sweet, tangy sauce.wow! My friend took her leftovers for dinner. Topped off with dessert and passion fruit Martinee and riesling! Very friendly staff too and reasonable prices! Thankyou Simplaz! You rock!
Nice place for groups, families or business meetings. They have 7am breakfast. Had the 'Open Green Omelette' with pork sausages and mushrooms as a side. Omelette was very filling on its own. Other dishes ordered: eggs benedict and belgian waffles and bacon.nSpacious interior with a great atmosphere.nMy only issue is the service could improve.nThe place seems understaffed therefore a long wait for our meals. Tried to order coffee to-go after paying the cashier who was the same man that waited on us, that he's too busy yet the place wasn't crowded or full of customers?? Not being able to provide a service because you're too busy is inexcusable and made no sense at all. Very unprofessional.
Quick lunch before a flight. The food tastes like what it should at a gastro bar so no complaints there. Had the chicken fettuccini and one of the salads on their lunch set. Fettuccini was super creamy but I guess some people might like a creamier fettuccini than others. Lots of space around lunch so didn’t have any issues getting a table.
