Syndal Preschool is a community kindergarten situated in Glen Waverley.

Story

We are situated in a quiet, secluded garden setting behind Syndal shops. Our large, shady outdoor learning environment provides wonderful spaces for your child to be active and to explore. The spacious sunsmart outdoor area incorporates large shade trees, a large rubber track for wheeled equipment, a vast array of climbing, crawling, and balancing equipment plus a lot of space to run.

Our grounds have recently been renovated with natural materials which include a very large sand pit, rocks to climb over, slide down and crawl under as well as an amphitheatre and other zones for play. Stage 2 were completed in 2016, adding a new cubby and outdoor picnic area.

Our fully qualified and dedicated teachers provide stimulating and creative programs catering for individual needs and interests to ensure children feel happy and confident.

You are welcome to come and observe our pre-school in operation at any time. However, we recommend that you make an appointment to ensure someone is available to answer any queries you may have.

Mission

Children learn best through active participation and play which encourages the development of creative thinking, planning, communication, numeracy, literacy, experimentation and social interaction. Programs are developed to cater to the individual needs of each child, their family and community.
