Can’t believe this school provides everything. Swim program, music sessions, programming, sports team, annual production performances, annual celebrations with all grades together, casual excursions and lots of activities happening.nThanks to all staff, can tell that they spend lots of time and energy in this place. My kids feel valued and loved there, they really love this school.nPinewood also registered ICAS, my kid got 3 HD for the first trial in year2, they are doing an excellent job in academics as well.nAfter school care is also helpful for parents both working. Lots of fun there.nAll staff are working hard to make this place better. Would definitely recommend, and encourage parents to donate more to make this school better. Recently renovated outdoor facilities look good as well.nGood job pinewood!
I was a student of this school. It was an awesome experience. However, some students need to be taught some respect! I know that some students are a bit under the average level and get sent to special class, but that doesn't mean that they can talk badmouth about others, hit others, etc without getting in trouble!nnI knew a boy, that I won't name, he was in that special class. I know that he has hurt people but doesn't get in trouble. I know that they need extra help, but at-least teach them a bit of respect! Just because they are a bit special doesn't mean they can say whatever they want!nnAlso, some substitues are so, SO bad at teaching. Some of them can't even speak english as well as the students.nnAnyways, the toilets are dirty very often. However, the ovals, playgrounds are all really well made.
Such a shame when Pinewood has the resources to be a fantastic school but our experience had been below average as you can see from the rating.nnIssues:nPlayground bullying is seen as a non issue. The kid reporting being bullied to the yard duty get redirected to their techer, then the teacher when not on yard duty redirects back to the yard duty.nnFood sharing is also seen as a non issue, policy is there but nothing is enforced. Kids bring lollies to share and I find my kids bringing back lolly wrappers quite often.nnFinally reception likes to pretend you don't exist when you're queuing there. When they finally acknowledge your existence they make it clear they are not having a good day and you're a bother.
My wife and I, today as grandparents, went to the grandparents’ day of the school for the second time and found that the school is very good. No better school than this one can be found in this area. The teachers are very caring and patience students. Students are also very happy here, learning the growth of knowledge and physical fitness.nnमेरी पत्नी और मैं, आज दादा दादी के रूप में, दूसरी बार स्कूल के दादा दादी के दिन गए और पाया कि स्कूल बहुत अच्छा है। इस क्षेत्र में कोई भी बेहतर स्कूल नहीं पाया जा सकता है। शिक्षक बहुत सावधानी और धैर्यवान छात्र हैं। छात्र यहां भी बहुत खुश हैं, ज्ञान और शारीरिक फिटनेस के विकास को सीखते हैं।
I have been in this school for 7 years now. The school is good, it teaches English for those from different countries. They deal with bullying and even cyber bullying very nicely. The teachers are great but only 2 or 3 teachers are not very good. They really care about their students. Education is really great, if a student is in a low level in education, the teachers bump them up very easily. They handle everything very nicely. I advice parents to enrol their students to this school. Pinewood is the safe place to be. Students feel like their in heaven.
