My mother had an appointment on Wednesday. The reception staff, as well as the nursing and medical staff were polite, respectful and very pleasant to speak with. They made my mother feel very comfortable throughout her visit and is another reason why Sydney Street Medical is my surgery of choice. Thank-you all so much!!
Sydney St Medical is a totally new experience for this over 60 person. Quiet, happy, clean & great patient waiting spaces. Dr Thu Thu Aung was fabulous. She listened and for the first time I felt that I was heard. Recommend this practice for anyone looking for a new practitioner or just new to Mackay.
We attend as our routine family practise. Our main Doctor is Dr Hasan, and she I always so kind and helpful and very patient with the kids. We have seen multiple other doctors over the years when we have had urgent appointments where we have too see whomever we can. I have been happy each time with our level of care. My only 2 annoyances are the length of recorded message on phone when you go to call before you can speak to a receptionist and also having to pay for a mask when the requirement was there. But they are minor when you go for medical attention. We will not be changing clinics as we are very happy with our service, thank you.
I had a great experience with Dr Aung your new GP registrar yesterday. As a doctor myself, it is easy to spot which practitioners know what they are doing and are passionate about their job. Dr Aung was thorough in her examination and recommended a number of great treatment options for me, she even went so far as to ring a local pharmacy to confirm the recommended medical was in stock. I was impressed at her follow up with her calling me today to discuss my pathology results. Other clinic staff were attentive with a nurse checking my vitals and administrative staff very helpful. I am new to Mackay and now won't go anywhere else.
SSM feel like family! Dr Shuren Taylor is an absolute life saver, Emma and her team are so welcoming. Glad we made the change all those years ago! Trust her with all of our children including one very high needs and non verbal. We also love how welcoming they are and how much they love chatting with our family and little people. Appreciate you all so incredibly much
Lady who check us in was very nice, helpful & was more then happy to confirm some results for my daughter with doctor from previous visit. Everyone made us feel at ease while there especially with my daughter getting her flu shot too.
I took my newborn as a first time mum and recieved great service. Al staff were friendly and helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. It was clear they really care about their patients.
I have always a great experience at Sydney Street Medical Center. The booking process online is easy and I received reminders and confirmation, which is helpful. The receptionists are lovely and effective, which made the process of registering quick. My doctor is Dr Shuren who is an excellent GP, very knowledgeable and also very caring. I would certainly continue my care with her.
The staff @SydneyStMedical are always very positive, welcoming & eager to help, from the reception staff, through to the nurses & doctors. Dr Taylor is fantastic! A very kind, caring & knowledgeable professional .
Dr Shuren Taylor was extremely caring and compassionate with me today. She took the time to help me lower my Blood Pressure reading so I could go on my way. I so appreciate her time, as that was not the request I came with. Thank you Dr Shuren
