Long lines were expected on the weekend especially since the weather has been so nice. The service is as quick as it can be. It’s not like there were people sitting around doing nothing. Plus, you get a buzzer so you can walk around and then come back for your order. Just a side note - I’d love to get the whole order at the same time even if it means waiting a little longer. People complaining about dogs being around - it is one of the few large off leash permitted parks so that’s inevitable. Haven’t had coffee here yet but it’s on my list. Good vibes.
If what you are looking for is a friendly neighbourhood dog park café, this place exceeds expectations. I bought two bananas for my baby and a coffee for me here and found all to be excellent. So did the mums on my mums group. We left with a contented feeling, buoyed by the atmosphere of children's laughter, cavorting puppies and healthy jogging people for the rest of the day
The food wasn’t good… Owner was yelling at her staff. Unnecessary and unacceptable. Update : what we saw was not someone being direct but someone being disrespectful and abusing her staff. She was also rude with us which was weird. It’s been the second time that I’ve been to this place and saw the owner screaming at people like they are dogs. Next time I will take a video and will send it to fair work and the council. I don’t think they will see someone being just direct. Please respect your customers and your staff….
Great, convenient location near the playground, toilets and car park. Ordered a large cappuccino, large soy chai latte and 600 ml bottle of water for just over $17... would expect excellent coffee and service for this price but sadly, the hot drinks were underwhelming and the service was average. We were waiting in line to be served at the coffee cart. When we got to the front of the line, the blonde lady working there decided to close the cart and went to the BACK of the line to request the customers move to the main kiosk till. We thought maybe we'd be the last to order from the cart but no, we went from being at the front of the line to the back fourth in line. No apology or explanation given, though we made eye contact with her and she defintely saw us there. We then overheard her telling the guy on the till that the customers now at the front previously back of the line would receive their drinks on the house. Hmm. The service provided by the guy on the main till and the barista was good.
Friendly folk and the best milkshakes. A visit here is well worth planning. The park surrounds are really lovely too.Food: 5/5
We had the most rude lady serve us. She was screaming and swearing at her staff in the kitchen it was disgusting. It made all the customers and surrounding people so uncomfortable and felt so sorry for the staff! I hope she got fired! No excuse to be swearing bloody murder at staff especially when young kids around too. Then your staff turning to the customers to have to apologise for her behaviour and calling the lady idiot. Such disgusting behaviour by that awful women. Will not be going back there if I ever see her face.
Admittedly this cafe gets quite busy, as it’s the only pit stop for the huge crowd that visits the Park. Coffee was OK, and the park is scenic and large. The downside for most is the amount of dogs roaming around the area although it’s pet friendly, and the time it can take to receive your order. Staff need a bit of help in the area of queue management. Still, they tried to please and made an effort. Overall, ok, just needs a little Chef Ramsey type assistance.
Coffee was ok. And the location is great with plenty of seating. The staff member that took my order however was not very personable. Not once did she look up from the iPad the entire time. If the service was better would have been 4 stars. I could understand if it was busy however very quiet at the time
great location in sydney park when you want a break from walking the dogs! great breaky burgers, coffee is average and prices are a bit pricey.
Beautiful location, bad music ruins it, food ok, just... Update 21 : Service is slow... Update 22 : Service is stil slow. Update 22: Music has improved to accommodate more diverse groups and thanks for keeping the volume lower too. parks are places for relaxing. Another cafe at an awesome location which has bad food and slow service. I hope this cafe improves. I feel the take advantage of a loyal customer base. There is no where else but a 10 min walk away.
