The take away coffee was even cheaper than the one in Usyd. A really cool cafe with bikes on the wall, interesting. The coffee was just average, but in a moderate temperature compared with the other cafes.
Really cheap and laid back place. If you like bikes or need repairs - it's a great place to go. The staff are super friendly. I've only ever really had coffee there but I like it. Lots of places to sit around and read from. The location is quite nice too. They do a lot of dutch style food and a lot of regulars go there. Good selection of newspapers to read.
First place I've found that offers Dutch breakkie! The food and coffee is great, the atmosphere relaxed. You can either sit inside at the window or in front of the cafe which is located on Abercrombie Street, the side where there isn't any heavy traffic. I love the combination of a cafe with a bike shop where you can not only buy good quality city bikes but also get yours repaired. You can even service your bike yourself or at least blow some fresh air in your tires.
Quality has gone down. I used to come here almost everyday and loved the place. But recently quality of the coffee has plummeted, they have started using cheap soy milk and the whole cup just lack strength and flavour. Shame because the people are great, ultimately there're so many awesome cafe in the hood I'll just have to reallocate my $50 coffee budget elsewhere.
I've taken my Apollo bike in to be repaired and serviced many times now, and am always greeted with a friendly and warm attitude. Their prices are reasonable, they get the job done quickly, and to a very high quality. These guys are passionate about bikes. The food and coffee is also great so visiting Town Bike is always an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend them. Pav. St Ives
Nice place on the corner. Get your bike fixed while having your breakfast. Rent a bike for a day, week, or weekend. The smell of cheese was incredibly strong when I went there, and that's not something I fancy, but my friend was in gooey heaven. The food isn't half bad! A nice find as we were in the area in desperate need for food and that usually leads to some pretty terrible food choices, but this one was great!
This place rules! Good toasties and excellent service by the lovely folk that work there. This includes the bike guy- He knows his stuff when it comes to sorting out your bike. Highly recommended for low key hangs at a relaxed cafe in Redfern
The staff here are very friendly and the coffee is excellent. There is a nice atmosphere and it never gets too crowded. I'm a fan of the bran muffins and the free wifi is handy.
The coffee is great , food good and staff pleasant, however they are as slow as glaciers to make both food and coffee, infuriatingly unprofessional and have really bad time management. They benefit from being the only coffee shop in blocks! Feels like everyone is on valium!
typical bread from tuscany, and very special beef is enough to consider this place special! Once you tried, you will come back for sure, expecially if you live locally. cute and friendly staff, and very good deal for breakfast and lunch. ask for orange juice, it really worth it! cool vinrage tables outside and crazy interiors with bikes and industrial pieces. hipster!
