Trading on this site as a delicatessen since the mid 50s. Making us the oldest trading delicatessen in Brisbane. Our Birthday is the 24th March.

Story

The Swiss Gourmet Deli was first started in 1980. The shop site has been a deli since 1962. Peter first took over the Deli in March of 1987 after it had closed down. Peter decided to keep the name and from there has grown over the years. The Swiss Gourmet has also built a large catering client base all over brisbane and outer suburbs. We pride ourselves in being a true deli. A large range of our products are made in house. Our Gourmet Sandwich Bar has had regulars coming back for the last 24 Years from all over.

This place is an institution in West End. I'd never heard of a Rueben sandwich until I came here - and now I'm addicted. All of their sandwiches are delicious. The coffee is also 10/10. Plenty of good pastries too. The staff always to happy to see you. If you haven't been here then you haven't really been to West End.

These guys make wonderful food. We particularly love the deli style sandwiches will many quality fillings to choose from. The family who run the place are very friendly and hospitable with great service.

Just plain old bad attitudes and service. Was a time this was my favourite place for brekkie but same old people still there and look like they need a break. I need of a complete facelift otherwise not going to survive!! Try the Jacaranda coffee lane nearby, then compare.
