The water was not crystal clear. The wave was not friendly for children. Many people fishing on the beach. Not the best in the bay of fire area. Better go to Jeannerette or Honeymoon beach in the bay of fire area. Time of visit: early May.

Camper van or caravan - this is amazing - right on the beach - great views, great walks - 15 mins to St Helens - best place to stay in Southern Bay of Fires bonus = free. Drop toilets - no showers - you need your own water - you can have fires and bring pets. Overall - great place to do nothing....
Caravan park is very nice but beach is often wavy and not suitible for swimming. Still a great spot near a lot of other great beaches
This spot was incredible! I mean, look at the photos! We stayed for two nights but you can stay for up to four weeks! It’s dog friendly and has long drop toilets which were very clean! The beaches are virtually empty, the rocks, the sand, the water. Amazing!!! Be warned though, the beaches are not patrolled.
Gorgeous beach, easily the most soft sand I’ve ever seen in my life. Camp sites close by can be hard to obtain -people often take up too much room at sites.
Quiet and relaxing. We watched a variety of native animals as well as caught some yum fish
