Story

Sushi Yah-man is a very relaxing, fully licensed Japanese family restaurant. With hints of reggae mixed in with real Japanese traditional food. We love to use local fresh seasonal produce and the freshest seafood you can find on the coast. Lots of wood, healthy food and smooth tunes makes Sushi Yah-man a great place for a snack, T/A's, lunch, dinner or just some sweet sake!
We have a full range of Japanese beers, sake and shochu!

Really nice place for great Japanese food and beautiful friendly staff. Usually start off with a wine at The Village Bicycle over the road. Recommend both for a cheap enjoyable evening.

Left feeling a little underwhelmed by the food considering its meant to be the best in town. Don't get me wrong, it was good but when you order off the menu (California roll) and get given a plate off the train, it's a bit disappointing. It wasn't fresh, seaweed feel apart and ingredients out the bottom when I picked it up. They have a train but it was very limited options, just tuna, salmon and veggies options w no flare. Staff were extremely friendly and happy. Definitely run by Japanese and authentic sushi. Recommend booking a table in peak dinner rush, especially during school holidays!

An authentic Japanese restaurant, that didn't disappoint. It was full, but the staff remained attentive. Will definitely return
