Went to pick up something quick for lunch. Had the Salmon nigiri. Wasn’t bad at all. Salmon was quite flavourful and service was friendly and efficient.
Californian roll was $4.20 exxy. Refer to pic. Lots of rice barely no filling. It's what I would call a dishonest roll looks good on the outside but the filling is almost all rice and not much else.
the quality of the sushi is just horrendous. Disgusting, dry, old sushi. Also, I got food poisoning from the octopus takoyaki, i do not recommend
Mixed trays are rice covered in a thin film of salmon or other toppings, getting a prawn so thin is almost an achievement. Driest seaweed salad topping I've ever had. Both the quality and quantity are lacking. Mostly harmless.
Got some sushi at 11am and it tasted like it was a day old. The rice was mushed together and dry, the chicken katsu was tough and the salmon tasted bad. Really disappointing.
Given this place multiple tries, every time the sushi tastes old rice is hard. Also got an upset stomach after eating a roll for lunch.
The sushi rolls are decent, you can’t expect that the sushi will be grade A at sushi roll places like this. The only major issue I have here is with the soy sauce. It’s not the real Japanese soy sauce that you eat with sushi. Their soy sauce is much sweeter and diluted so I’d ask for extra.
the sushi roll here must be the smallest in the world. It is barely two finger width and the salmon does not run fully through the whole roll the display portion looks like there’s salmon but there’s no salmon at the end of the roll. You really feel cheated eating these sushi roll the ones near the Railway Parade bus stop is much better by far. Would give these sushi 0 stars and also for shallow taste. Must have changed hands now no longer good eats.
This morning my son ordered some grilled salmon and it wasn’t cooked = raw salmon = unacceptable. He is allergic to raw salmon and had to go to the hospital and is currently in a coma. In addition, this sushi world in chatswood have upped their price from $9 to $10 and the sushi world in top ryde has the acceptable price of $9. I will not be returning and I’ll be contacting my lawyer.
The chicken was raw and the head office said it wasnt by the photo. It was pink,squishy and cold. Definitely raw
