This place has the worst sushi and sashimi ive ever had. Not only is the sashimi so thin that it is transparent, their sushis are smaller than the soy sauce bottle they give. Do not waste your money like i did.
Bought a couple of rolls here before which are unusually small but the upsetting thing was the veggie rice paper roll. You pay $6 for 3 and they don’t have anything inside other than a few lettuce leaves. The avo that shows on top is literally the skinniest slice I have ever soon. So not worth it. Won’t be back.
I was a regular customer but I found they are rude, selective, staffs have very strong dislikings for certain customers. You have to ask for basics repeatedly

Couldn't understand me on the phone, then when I got in they said they didn't have what I had just ordered. Waste of time honestly.
Great service from friendly staff. Food can be hit or miss though, esp if you're buying late in the day and the foods been in the bay Marie for 8 hours. Don't get the Mayo chicken Don, it's too Damn rich.
Sushi world always has great sushi! I go out of my way and sometimes decide to stop at Hornsby specifically to get this sushi. The rice is nice and soft. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. My favourite roll of theirs is the California roll. Second favourite is the teriyaki salmon. Yummmm!!!
