Wonderful place for a great japanese meal. Best quality japanese meal in Christchurch, and the service is amazing. But remember to make a booking before you come.
The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and they even gave my mother a complimentary dessert for her birthday! These guys are awesome!!!
Kinji is BY FAR the best restaurant in Christchurch! The food was impeccable -- pickled smoked radish and eel and burdock with egg were particularly amazing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything. Thank you so much to the chef and everyone!

Most authentic Japanese cuisine. I have lost count how many times I have visited Kinji, but everytime the service is incredible and the staff are very friendly. Most importantly however, the food is fresh and cooked to perfection.
Very fresh and delicious meals. Great service and menu selections. I will be returning to Kinji's soon, hunger for more.
