Best chicken and rice in the city! Good chunks of chicken, amazing sauce, and only $11 for a really good size serving.  10/10!

A Family run small business that offers great sushi and other dishes. Prices are very good. Might be the best in Christchurch. Rice trays hard to beat. Probably not the nicest to take a date but great for a quick Bite.

Worst Donburi EVER   No pickles/ginger. The rice did not even have authentic Japanese seasonings. Got this for $17!! Really disappointed.

Have been coming here for over ten years, every time I’m back in chch this is my first stop. Teriyaki rice ball extra everything is UNREAL. Can’t reccomend enough.

Food was good not really 100%but still 80%may be it's  my taste tho. When i sat in this  sushi cafe,i felt I'm  in asia. Nice and kind  staff, cleaned  area. Overall i like this place. Hopefully  you will  like it too. Good for social  catch up but not really good for special  meet up. Thanks

worst riceball i have ever had it didn't have much flavour, it definitely wasn't a riceball when it just falls to bites. i don't have a high expectations but this one was just nope

Amazing food, and the staff are super kind people.

We have been going to the Sushi Cafe on and off since they opened back in the mid 2000's when we took our children. The are now taking their children for the awesome food and service.  The owners are still the same since day one and this means the product is still the same, if not better.  Anyone who goes to the Sushi Cafe finds their favourite like a Teriyaki Chicken Rice Ball or a Teppanyaki Beef. Best in town.
