Old, Run Down and Outdated. There are so many vacant shops that have been empty for year upon year. Management doesn't seem to care about the place at all.nnIn a growing and rapidly expanding area and demographic, what an absolute disgrace to have such a waste of an asset.nnIt's about time something was done about this centre. The community is screaming out for good quality stores and a good quality shopping centre, unfortunately it's becoming more and more evident that nothing will ever change.nnIt is very sad and upsetting for the community to see such an asset go to waste due to lack of care and attention the place deserves.nnHow is this centre meant to compete with other centres. Other centres that pour money and reinvest in themselves see an immediate difference, but this will never happen in Sunshine.nnPlease reinvest in this centre, the community severely needs it.
I rarely come here, but I'm coming more often now. It's super clean and everyone seems friendly. Demographic of people seem to be shifting but still have occasions where youth crime and creepy people are present
All the essentials are here, Woolies, bakery, bigW etc. However not a pleasant experience for parents of infants. Nowhere near enough wider parking spots for parents with prams. The parents rooms are always, always filthy and every single time I've used the parents rooms I've had multiple grown men, without a child, open the door to enter to use the toilet I'm guessing while I was either feeding or changing my baby. On two separate occasions I was waiting to use the toilet in the parents room and a junkie walked out. On one occasion I had to wait to warm up my babys food because a staff member from one of the shops in the centre was warming up her lunch. It blows my mind that the room cannot be locked from the inside and junkies and random men are able to walk in on mothers breast feeding and changing their babies. The centre has a duty of care to provide a safe environment and this is not it, don't feel safe here.
It's a fairly standard shopping centre, has some shops I need but not a lot of choice, the food court is pretty abysmal. At least getting to the marketplace is easy enough via regular pedestrian routes, you're better off going to the nearby market to look for a more unique and diverse offering that Sunshine has to offer, in fact the variety is some of the best in the Melbourne metropolitan area imo.
This marketplace has a halal meat shop, cheap bakeries and Woolworths.nAlso I saw some crafts shops as well.nnA very good collection of shops with plenty of parking. A go-to place for shopping and groceries.
