Sunshine Coast Trailers manufactures, maintains, services and repairs trailers. We provide to government, tradespeople and public entities.

Story

Sunshine Coast Trailers was established in 1972 with the main focus being on manufacture and supply of new trailers, custom built to suit all requirements.

We have relocated to 72 Sandalwood Lane, Forest Glen, still making us very accessible to both northbound and southbound Bruce Highway traffic.

For trailer construction, repairs, maintenance and sales in South East Queensland and further afield, Sunshine Coast Trailers does it all from custom trailers, tradesmans trailers, commercial trailers, motorbike trailers to enclosed trailers and camper trailers.

Sunshine Coast Trailers have taken the forefront to supplying customised working and commercial trailers to all industries. Currently we supply to Sunshine Coast Regional Council as well as prominent businesses such as, Energex, RoadTec, Rio Tinto etc.

We are happy to accommodate individual needs and where possible, manufacture to your requirements. We offer the options of steel – zincanneal, hot dip galvanised, and fibreglass for our new enclosed range of trailers. We also offer three trailer depths - 320mm, 400mm and 500mm.

Depending on the chassis and running gear options selected - single axle trailers can be registered with a 1500kg ATM.

At Sunshine Coast Trailers we use only Australian components were possible, such as our springs. The bearings are high quality Timkins, no poor quality import components that will compromise the strength and quality. Our painting system is a 2 pack Dupont system to ensure maximum longevity of the finish to your trailer. We use only new tyres and approved ADR LED lights that are shock and water proof, there is no worrying that your lights have failed.

Paul and his team are a great company to deal with. Their workmanship is of a very high standard, and very well priced. They work on a huge range of different types of trailers which is difficult for one company do, and they are excellent at it. If you are looking for a new trailer, repairs or modifications, parts, or even just advice, I would highly recommend Sunshine Coast Trailers! Keep up the good work SCT.

Went to see Paul to get some advice on fixing work my trailer, they were very useful. Ordered the parts and they were available the next day, gave me all the tips and advice I needed to fix it myself. Will be returning for future projects!

Took my jetski trailer in and young bearded mate who works there could not be more helpful. Got springs hubs bearings sorted in like 5 minutes. Highly recommend. Friendly and professional

Terrible experience. Took my jetski trailer there for a quote for a basic repair. It had two small rusted sections that needed cutting out and new pieces welded in. Not a big job, and my trailer was otherwise solid. The bloke immediately told me that it was a big job, would be $900 plus to repair, and that I should scrap the trailer and buy a new one, they wouldnt do it.  I took it to another place in Kunda park nearby. Got a quote for $200 the number i had in my head for what the job was worth Left it with them, and it was done the same day. Brilliant welding job, and they painted the fresh metal too. My trailer will last another 20 years, very happy.

Had a few issues with our tinny trailer so rang the guys at SC Trailers - they had good reviews plus their ad appeared first on the web! They were very helpful, fitted me in straight away, then rang later and clearly explained what was wrong and how to fix it.   They were efficient, professional and completed the job within a day. Besides being friendly they did a good job and were relatively cheap. I'd definitely reccomend them.

We were travelling through the Sunshine Coast,  had a problem with our trailer. Paul fitted us in at short notice and his staff did a great job fixing the problem. Very professional , great customer service, highly recommend them.

Couldn’t fault. My trailer needed a service and they got me in quickly with a prompt turnaround. Can feel the difference while I tow it and it gets towed all of the time. Friendly and honest. I would recommend the guys there. Thanks.

Just recently had a trailer 10x6 tandem box trailer built by Paul and his crew. From start to finish they were very helpful and professional addressing any questions and concerns i had. I have had 5 trailers built by this company over the last 10 years or so. Been different owners but same quality. If you are getting prices for trailers there are many cheap ones around but they will not go the distance when it come to handling heavy loads. Sunshine Trailers build heavy duty trailers with well known brand components. Also trailers can be built to your personal requirements not mass produced . They also use local tradesman. I would not hesitate to use them again.  Thanks again to Paul and the team.

Excellent service. Great price. Friendly staff. Ordered in some parts for me and fitted them for me.  Had two trailers on the road again in no time. Would highly recommend them. Great service, with a friendly smile.

Great work done here - would recommend.  My trailers bearings seized up on my boat trailer on the way up to Fraser for a week-long fishing trip and i got my boat and trailer towed to these guys after the accident and they had me on the road again by the afternoon.  We made it to our trip without missing the briefing.
