I purchased a coffee birthday cake yesterday 27/5/2023. When my family eat the cake this morning, we found a strange taste. We then looked carefully inside the cake and found it has been mouldy. I posted here to warn others about the food safety of the cakes from this shop. I will never buy here again
must try 1A meal, one including everthing one breakfast meal finish dont need lunch anymore bigger warm and full breakki. my fave ! friendly famliy cafe, staffs nice ,quick, easy! good morning starting cafe must here
Bought 2 egg tarts around midday, and the lady “miraculously” got 2 pre-packed ones out from a hidden shelf, I wonder if they were trying to do some “quick sale” selling overnight-old tarts and not friendly at all… a little smile won’t hurt as well
Cake is dry and not worth the money. Never buy their cake again, not fresh.
I havent tried other bread, but roll cake is no go.
Authentic Hong Kong taste that I’ve been searching in this town, they should have also opened on Sunday XD
The best bakery in Brisbane especially the cream nice and soft but not too sweet Perfect!
Their swiss roll taste yucky , in fact the worse swiss roll I ever had . The front shop lady is unfriendly too.
Their main staple product is asian style baked breads with fillings both sweet and savoury. When compared with similar bakeries with similar products in the Brisbane southside region including Sunnybank, Sunnybank Hills, Runcorn, Eight Mile Plains, Calamvale it's probably the one that has more consistency and more value for money. There's less dough improver / stabilizers in their dough compared to other competitors but the bread dough itself i think is a little soft and thin than what they need to be when pressed, fillings could be a little more generous to compliment the feel of the bread, ratios are important! They are however, located conveniently in a shopping centre where there's a lot of traffic so ease of purchase is what keeps them going and convenient to buy when i get those sweet cravings, and have been there for more than a decade shows they're still good enough to stay open in the same spot for that long, whereas the others have come and gone within the same complex. Quality overall isn't what it used to be, but with rising operational and material costs, sometimes quality has to be compromised for the business to be operational but when compared to other similar bread shops in the same region, it still has the thumbs up and regulars will know it, otherwise nobody would be buying from them. Compared to Breadtop, this is much better, sweet breads are great for afternoon tea I don't buy often, but is the only place i'd buy bread from around Brisbane southside Please note, if buying cakes or pastry with cream in/on it, be sure to ask the store whether it's cream based or plant based mock cream, if it's plant based mock cream, avoid at all costs! This applies to all bakeries
Just had Durian birthday cake! Beautiful job , well presented, and tasted fantastic- can really taste the durian, and it was made fresh. Be sure to order a day ahead.
