Disappointed. Takeaway prices have sky-rocketed by about 30% and prices shown online haven't been updated. We ordered braised chicken and cashew nuts and chicken chow mein. Service was fast, but sadly the lack of vegetables let the quality of both dishes down. While the chicken was well cooked and tasty, the lack of vegetables particularly with the chow main spoiled an old favourite.
Had a bad experience at this restaurant. Went there for dinner with my family and to be honest it was embarrassing. The service was absolutely awful from beginning to end and why we didn't get up and go is a mystery to me. We booked ahead for 4 adults and 1 child. We were placed on 2 separate tables pushed together which prevented us having a social evening due to the separation. We had to ask for more menus as they only gave us 3. Nobody came to take our order and eventually we chased down a young girl to take our order. The restaurant advertised a half caref of wine which they didn't have and were unable to offer a substitute. Half of the main meals ordered came out before the entrees ordered. When questioned re one entre, the young girl said we had not ordered one. She was non-apologetic and somewhat rude. After a considerable length of time we still had not received all our food and eventually the entrees arrived. We also ordered some soft noodles but despite being a Chinese restaurant they didn't seem to know how to do these!! Everything it seemed had to be chased..food, drinks, glasses and seemed to be too much trouble..even just thumped on the table as if we were just inconveniences. To be honest the food was overpriced and the bill nearly $200 for very average food..Would not recommend and will not return!! A complete disappointment.
First time I have tried them and it will be my last. Chicken chow mein was very average and extremely salty and the special fried rice was dried out and the worst I have every tasted. We paid way more than others in the area for a poor quality meal.
Ordered takeaway and looking at reviews I did not have my hopes up but when we sat down to eat it is easily one of the best quality Chinese we have ever ate. So very good, would come back anytime, highly recommend the honey pepper beef.
One Star for the quality of the food. Zero stars for short changing our orders twice. Make sure you get what you ordered. If that means opening the tied up take out bags while you are in the shop, do so. Apparently it is our responsibility to make sure they get our orders correct. Not theirs to supply what we order!!
It was nice but more onions then meat/seafood. There needs to be equal amounts. I can’t afford this type of takeaway so it’s a huge treat when I’m able too.
Prices so much more expensive than last time we popped in. Service was horrible. Waiting staff needing serious training. We were in a group and the entrees only came out after our meals and half of us were waiting while the others were already finishing up. Some of the order came out wrong and staff huffed and puffed when we told them it was wrong. Never again
Food as always is great. Hot and tasty. Down side is wait times. They quote 45 mins and then when you get there 45 mins later, you are told it's another 20-25 mins without even a sorry. I'll still go there as it's way better than the others but I wish they would be more upfront with timing or at least offer a phone call if food is running late so you don't have to wait 25 mins twiddling your thumbs outside.
We went last night for dinner. Food was great but costs far too much now. The restaurant looks more like a storage shed than a restaurant. Sad indeed. Not in a hurry to return
Always consistently good food. We get takeaway from here regularly.Food: 5/5
