Dropped by over the weekend for some empanadas, fresh bread and churros. Churros we’re over fried! Tasted so oily and greasy. Empanadas from the display oven were burnt! Did not look appealing. No fresh bread either. Such a disappointment! I remember when this cafe is to be run by actual South American people. It’s lost it’s Latin touch. Will not be coming back.
Very friendly service and traditional empanadas, churros, alfajores y sandwich amigas. They also do Latin birthday cakes & sell some hard to find things like yerba maté abodo.Always worth stopping in.
Coffee was good. Alfajores were very good. There's a bit of Vietnamese flavour with Banh Mi being offered.
Me and my friend Benjamin Yelavic, love to head out here for some nice, fat se-xy youthful churros haha! Very nice looking shop, especially when I see his young, plump, cute looking son at the front counter with his soothing voice, makes me quite ar-oused to be honest, haha only messing around. Not to mention that sweet sight of a daughter always helping around, considering her to be one of my many future wives haha! Including the ones at moorefield cause I work there and it's a score baby, hahaha! Wouldn't mind lying on the ground for both of them to step on me and crushing my useless old balls. Hahaha, only having a good ol harmless comedic joke with this review. Very nice churros.
Was gagging to eat here again. Sadly the Portuguese tart was soggy. No way it was fresh. Very disappointed. Could have gotten a fresher one at woolworths
The Churros are excellent. Plain or filled with caramel, it's hard to stop at one! The coffee is good and the Lady owner is very friendly.
I remember this shop when it was owned and operated by South Americans. A good assortment of quality cakes, tarts and empanadas. The business was later taken over by a german that really enhanced the standard and flavours of all the pasteries and introduced some other quality delicacies. The business has since changed hands again and unfortunately has lost a lot of its original pasteries, standards and quality. The shop does not have the feel it once had and the empanadas are definitely not made using traditional recipes. On a positive note, they still serve churros and if you are lucky, they will not have been on display too long!
Visited for the first time on Sunday. Bought two pastries and had to return them as they were sooo old and hard they were inedible. Horrible. When I returned them I was told of course they are hard they were in the fridge but eventually agreed to refund. Not worth the visit Nicer bakeries in the area where everything is freshly baked.
Sausage rolls to die for - be safe and buy 2!
I really like the long, white bread sandwiches they have here. Coffees & pastries are all great too. This is a regular stop for us on our way out to the Royal National Park.
