We love stopping in ma and pa joints. Mark and Kim are stand up folks. They have the absolute best steak and eggs I've ever had & that's my staple order anywhere I go to eat breakfast. We highly recommend giving them your business if able to.
Great little diner! Very clean and excellent atmosphere. Our server was really nice and a man who I assume was the owner made a couple rounds of the restaurant asking people how their meals were ect, he was also very friendly. We ordered the classic ride and a bacon cheeseburger both with cole slaw. The burgers were great! Buns were toasted and the patties grilled perfectly. We’ll definitely be back.
Visiting family from out-of-state. Ordered the Pizza Burger with Fries Burger was well made, cooked well without being burnt. Cheese was perfectly melted. And sauce was just plentiful enough to enjoy without being messy. Fries, surprisingly, came with a sprinkling of seasoning. Crispy and flavorful, didn't even want to use ketchup. The server, Haley, was bright and attentive. Order came out timely and accurate even the extras. And she was as friendly as they come. I will definitely have to get back here before I return to Chicago.
A very friendly restaurant! They prepare food quickly and to order. Mark always stops by to see if everything is OK and when an item is new, he asks what you thought of it. The fries are really good as are the fried pickles and the onion rings. The coating on all of them is unique and tasty! They make diet chocolate Cokes, my sister's favorite! They have the best steaks we've found, all in all a great place to eat!
I went in when they were about to close, and it had been years since I have had Sugar Shack. They were extremely welcoming, and kind. They let me place an order to gowhich I already intended to do :, and had my food made quickly. very refreshing to be treated so kindly! wonderful people, amazing food! I highly recommend
Arrived at 7 p.m. on a Monday, and it was closed. I've eaten here before and it's good. Very curious as to why it's closed an hour early.
Found this place while out for a morning drive. Breakfast was delicious and the service was superb. They ran out of English muffins and the owner came out to apologize and offer alternatives. The decor really makes the place and it is both clean and fun. Hang with the locals and find a filling breakfast at the same time. Good portions and good prices.
This place was pretty great! Ordered a Mint chocolate chip shake and a chicken fajita wrap Service was good but the fries had a bit too much salt on them for my liking. Not gonna remove any starts for that because I know lots of people like salt. 5/5, definitely would go here again
Such a cute place, food was great, and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Had a party of 6 and they were great at finding us a good spot to sit that would easily fit everyone.Food: 5/5
Worth a visit. It has the old diner vibe with checkered patterns and colored vinyl booths. Pretty disappointed by the conflicting signs... outside says breakfast ...interior door has a note saying breakfast ends at 11am. I'm a big breakfast fan. But the brunch burger was good and the strawberry shake was the bomb.
