Story

At Studio Rubix we believe life is a bit like a Rubik's cube; full of twists and turns and the constant challenge to juggle different elements such as fitness, food and function. Often you need to let someone look at your puzzle from a different angle. That is where we will help you crack your code.

As experts in personal training, reformer pilates and nutrition we offer one-to-one, partner and small group personal training, nutrition consulting, and corporate wellness programs.

I attended four classes at Studio Rubix, whilst visiting family over Christmas. The team at Studio Rubix are brilliant, very welcoming and knowledgeable. Dayna was my trainer for all sessions and her direction provided an excellent work out. The classes were reasonably priced, shower facilities are clean and well stocked. I normally attend Reformer pilates in London and this meets that high standard! Next time I visit home, I'll be back!

Reformer pilates at Studio Rubix is my absolute favourite thing! I always look forward to my classes and they never feel boring or like a chore! Kate, Toby and the team are awesome and make sure classes are challenging yet enjoyable. You're always in safe hands and given options suitable for you. I carried on the whole time I was pregnant.
After experiencing an eating disorder I sort help from kate at studio rubix, who I have been working with over the past two years, she has gone above and beyond for me providing me with great support nutritionally and with mindfulness. She is the best in the business and has helped me recover and continues to coach and guide me- I’m looking forward to continuing working with kate to get my running goals back on track. Although I’m moving to the South Island this is not a problem as studio Rubix still provide a great service via zoom or phone consultations and I will continue to use their service as I trust no else with my nutrition, exercise and mindfulness goals.
Studio Rubix is an amazing gym and has been a huge help when it comes to improving my performance in cycling. I have noticed a huge difference in my results in the past year due to both the gym sessions with Toby and Aidan and nutrition sessions with Kate. I would definitely recommend Studio Rubix to anyone who is looking to improve there fitness. I would also just like to say a big thank you to the team at Studio Rubix for the sponsorship
Studio Rubix is a great place to get personal training and holistic health and nutrition help! I have only been going for a few weeks but am very impressed with their knowledge, friendliness, equipment and determination to help everyone reach their goals. Way more than a gym. I appreciate Kate's help with my health and fitness goals, and each week our workout is challenging, but fresh and interesting.
I have worked with both Toby and Kate on my nutrition and strength and can honestly say I owe a huge part of my success in the past year to them. As a female teen distance runner Kate helped me understand my needs nutritionally and helped me successfully gain over 7 kg healthily, as well as raise my iron levels. In my harder training phases she also keeps me accountable to making the right food choices to fuel my body. I have really enjoyed adding strength training to my routine and using Toby's program I have noticed gains in my power and stability. I especially like using the Swiss ball to do different exercises, and love the fact I can do the routine when I want with minimal equipment. I look forward to revamping the program to help aid my steeplechase and hurdling this athletics season. Overall I would definitely recommend Studio Rubix for anyone wanting to reach their full potential, happily and healthily, in a positive environment.
The Team at Studio Rubix are Fun, Friendly & Professional! I love the Reformer Pilates Class! I've been going the last couple of years & have progressed through Beginner, Intermediate & now Advanced! Tueday nights are a weekly highlight & it has kept my back strong & pain-free where it used to be in constant pain. Thank you!
