The presentation was very nice in the cabinet. However the sushi we had was very like Australian taste instead of Japanese. The rice should be flavored with vinegar but they use normal rice. Chicken was good. Overall is ordinary.
During these hard times sushi restaurants have been challenged by the shortage of ingredients. Somehow this sushi street has been able to keep going and even offers amazing deals! The sushi rolls were amazing and even the staff were kind and friendly.
The $12 lunch special is exceptional value. It value for money which is often rare these days. The sushi is being made constantly and the fresh juices are surprisingly delicious. I’d recommend the tropical juice especially if you’re going to walk along the beach. I’ve been here several times and the team are helpful, polite and great at what they do. Definitely give this place a visit it’s quick and easy.
The Sushi here is always delicious! Most affordable place in town as well and close to the beach. Staff are always friendly just make sure to get here at least an hour before closing before the sushi starts to run out!Food: 5/5
The best sushi in Byron super fresh and great quality, the miso soup is also amazing so yum and full of flavours!!! Staff are lovely and food is very well priced
One star more than minimum for the friendly staff during the busy time of new Year holidays and using non plastic boxes. But the other stars are missing for a very disappointing quality and the messy roles in the box.

This sushi is witchcraft. How do they make rice, a slither of seaweed and some veggies taste so good? It is impossible to walk past this store and not get sucked in and buy sushi. It's like this store is a black hole and I am the rest of the universe. Or however that stuff works. I'm not an astronaut. Point is this sushi is the best. Go here before we actually get sucked into a black hole and you never get to try this witchcraft sushi.
Great food great prices, amazing little spot
I got food poisoning after eating the salmon and avo sushi rolls from street sushi which made me feel really sick and nauseous. I am very disappointed by the poor quality and handling of food. I returned to tell the cashier about this and no genuine apology or refund was offered. Best to avoid this sushi spot. Thanks for the prompt response from management! To answer some of the below questions and to clarify the situation: 1 - I ate the sushi within 5 minutes of purchasing it. I mentioned to your staff member I was at the beach when I vomited several times after consuming your sushi. 2 - the sushi in the display is not being cooled and could be outside of the fridge for long periods which raises poor food handling concerns for me. I hope you manage to rectify these issues in the future!
