Was looking for a cafe with a view in Byron Bay and we encountered The Pass Cafe. It doesn't have a view but the cafe is right next to The Pass Beach. We ordered a pancake and ate it on the nearby benches which has the view of The Pass Beach. The staff were friendly and the ambience was nice. Although the food came out a bit late i. e. I finished my small long black before the food came. Hopefully it gets better. Other than that this cafe must get busy as it is a very touristy spot. The food was yummy & the coffee was delicious! Parking: Metered parking no coins, card tap only. Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't see any wheel chair accessibility.
This is what cafe culture in Byron Bay is all about. Tucked away at the end of the road, right between the car park and the beach, I found The Pass Cafe after a long drive up the coast. And what a pleasure it was. It offers a lovely, relaxed and super chilled atmosphere out in the deck surrounded by tall trees and a glimps of the ocean. My poached eggs on sourdough with fried tomato and halloumi was excellent. My soy flat what was damn good. Cannot fault this cafe and it made my day just taking in the ambience for an hour and thinking “Surely this is what Byron Bay is all about.”
Great little cafe amongst the tree tops of Byron. We enjoyed a delicious scrambled eggs on sourdough & a brekkie wrap priced very reasonably. Had the pleasure of dining with this young Grey Butcher Bird.
Lovely venue, quite nice food but the staff we encountered were 'half-hearted' at their job. There was only 3-4 tables of people, half empty this morning and it seemed like the staff were in a can't be bothered mode .... nobody came around to see if you would like a second coffee or if the food was Ok etc. And the toast wasn't really toasted with our breakfast. Only one side was. One of us ordered medium poached eggs and they were hard. I feel it could be so much better here.
Cafe at the end of the road. Had the fruit bowl and salt and pepper octopus. Very good.Recommended dishesFruit Bowl
Not really nailing the simple things. We have visited here often, and enjoy the location and food. However in regard to a recent breakfast experience laziness seems to have taken over a little - or at least attention to detail. All three of is had bacon that was barely cooked. Now I know you should ask for crispy if you want that, and we don’t. But our bacon had only been ‘just cooked’. The thick toast was the same. If you’re going to have bread that thick, you have to at least toast it properly. It was as though they just wanted to get the meals out.It wasn’t however very busy
Food looks OK, I ordered an iced chocolate which was very watery.Food: 4/5
A beautiful place with amazing views... We has a little coffee before our walk to the @Byron Bay @lighthouse
It was really delicious. Latte was creamy and nice flavour.Food: 5/5
I love the friendly staff and delicious Flat White and so big burgers. Wagyu burger contains big hamburg, flesh vegetables, cheese and pickles. The combination with burger and vegetables are wonderful. The staff are very kind and friendly. They talked my kids many times.
